Canopy

The canopy is in a slightly more stable state than the Understory of the town below. Built around and within the nearby trees, it is protected from below by the Understory as a buffer, and protected from above by the thick webs of giant spiders entangled in the branches. The architecture of Canopy buildings is subtle, and many outsiders don't even realize they exist.

[EVENT] SATURNALIA DAY 10: JAHR by fall

The most underdeveloped, backwater portion of Eclipse are all of its building built on the ground. It's not uncommon to see makeshift repair patches, or even damages which were deemed too small to bother fixing. It's not uncommon to see wild beasts chained up as guard animals, just one example of how the natives have taken these wilds and made them their own.

Below the surface of the Understory, ancient, winding pathways stretch through the ground like roots. Fittingly enough, it is said that Eclipse Town was once an exclusively underground community, only venturing to the surface within the last century and a half. Though by far the most well-established area of the town, it is also the least welcoming of nosey outsiders.
