The Verda is the largest river in Salem, stretching all across the Riverlands. Verdi, the nickname given to the tributary of this river, is present within Sundial's walls and has made the eastern grasslands of the city quite fertile. Located far away from the hustle and bustle of the main city, one can find the peaceful river banks lined with fields of crops and secure walls that protect the eastern border.

The Sapphire Isles are a string of Islands barely visible off of Sundial's coast. Most of these islands are populated by water elementalist tribes and small pirate communities. Though the tropical environment and beautiful view of the horizon might make it seem like an ideal vacation spot, its vulnerability to giant sea monsters makes it undesirable to most.
