this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
[break][break] this january the staff of starfall brings you a mystery event. this event will not be death enabled but will have the potential for severe injury (eg. the loss of a limb or greater). this severity cannot be negotiated, but the threads will be structured such that it will be possible to back out of them.[break][break]
the structure of the event will be quite different from other events as for this event there will be no direct sign ups. instead, in order to join the event you will be required to create an open thread in either the residential area or downtown sundial (none of the subboards will be entertained, except amagika park). the thread must be tagged [o] and [e] and either 24, 48, or 72 depending on how frequently the participants would like a moderator post. faster time brackets do mean that the plot progresses faster, and these brackets cannot be changed later so please be careful while selecting[break][break] the thread will need to have at least 3 participants (no upper cap, though no more than 5 is suggested), none of whom can be signed up for the empyreal cup. members can participate with multiple characters but are asked to consider other members and also the staff's schedules. [break][break] after your thread has the number of members you'd like, please post a link to the thread here. once staff begins posting in your threads, you will have a fixed amount of time (as must be mentioned in the thread title) to respond to the staff post. if you miss two rounds you will be dropped from the thread. [break][break] more details will be given in individual threads as they are created. [break][break] new threads will be accepted until january 16th
