this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
As to be expected, the group were a bunch of savages without manners (as if he were one to talk). That would require some “re-education” over time, but for right then he would play nice. Despite his attitude, Umbra didn’t have many options and it was becoming abundantly clear there was no way out of his current situation. He burned bridges too quickly for his own good. Having no friends and being forced into a club as some form of cruel punishment, he had no choice but to be nice to these losers for as long as necessary.
We may be incredibly powerful but we would never torture the weak with it. His eye twitched subtly at the insult. Weak? This was going to be harder than he thought. Still he smiled, even though an acidic taste bloomed in his mouth from biting his tongue, ”How gracious of your president..”A rodent.
And then, of course, the obnoxiously loud blonde had to speak. Contrary to the majority, Umbra rather liked confrontation, and he was fairly good at inciting it, depending on his mood. Unlike Mickey Hassan, he was simply better at hiding his brutality beneath lacquered privilege and a gaping superiority complex. He graced him with a simple side-glance that said: I’m sorry did you say something from down there? He had the good fortune of height on his side though he was wiry in comparison. Then looked back to Noble, smiling at the airy boy. "I'm assuming you're next in charge?"
At least the girl had the intellectual capacity to stay silent. Her impatience was understandable, of course. ”Yeah, sure. I’ll join your club. Who knows. Good things may come from it.”
Noble seemed to resign himself to going without the bake sale. Rats. He had hoped to be present to be the spoon licker…as well as the bowl licker. Raw eggs couldn’t hurt a protagonist of his caliber after all. He didn’t protest further, feeling if he brought it up once more Mickey would shake him until he was dizzy, and while merely messing with his sense of balance was nothing he couldn’t overcome immediately, he would rather avoid the hassle. Noble nodded along with Mickey and Aine as she tried to not so subtly get the meeting back on track.
The boy took pause, halfway through passing a finger between Her Royal Highness’ ears. Then he let out a small laugh waving off the new guy altogether. “We are flattered you respect our strength, but we are the newest member of the Lady Fane Ultimate High School Fan Club.” He explained before nodding over at Mickey in attempt to diffuse the oncoming confrontation. “Mickey is our beloved Vice President. He recruited me…mmm…perhaps…last month?” Noble tapped his chin not quite remembering if it had been 2 and a half weeks ago or a month. Either way, he wasn’t very high up the totem pole, not that he complained about it. “And to our best knowledge….Aine is some sort of secretary? She is always taking notes during meetings.” He added. “We are Noble, and our president Her Royal Highness, overlord supreme of the astral universe.”
“Who are you?” the boy asked smiling as he watched himself jump up a rung in the ladder. Then again being the newest member of a Lady Fane fan club was kind of cute right? Especially when he had been so oblivious to her existence before. It helped add to his high schooler cover from enemies that would seek him out for his destiny. He would avoid that for as long as possible. “Ah! How exciting.” Noble exclaimed giving a couple of happy claps before looking over at the shorter blonde in deferment. It wasn't really his job to accept newer members, but they had never had a problem with anyone joining. After all, they'd let him join.
