Mt. Zephyr

Mt. Zephyr is an old and revered mountain that looms over the edges of Gale Valley. It is said to hold many precious stones that the latest mining efforts have only just begun to utilize, but beyond that, it serves as a host for monsters beyond one's wildest imagination.

Ravine Town
There are no posts in this board.
As the largest mining operation and most profitable ore export point in Salem, this ravine is constantly under heavy protection by armed guards and skilled mages. Train and mine cart tracks tangle across the surface and along the ravine walls, while mining tunnels stretch far and deep beneath the mountains.

Iron Bluffs
There are no posts in this board.
Should you be adventuring midway up the mountains and stumble across a rolled-up rope bridge nestled in a crevice or a retracted platform pulled back flush against the mountain's face, you may have just stumbled into the town of the Iron Bluffs. The people here usually live hidden in metal-walled tunnels within the mountains, but crafted mechanical contraptions which can unfold in times of low danger transform their living space into a sprawling cliffside town. Being so far from the major cities of Salem, laws are not enforced here, and it is a known den of bandits and airship pirates.

Stonewyvern Temple
[mission] CARNIVORE INCARNATE by fall
Near-inaccessible to anyone who is not a practiced earth elementalist, a labyrinth hidden deep beneath the mountains at the heart of the Crystalcliff Peaks protects the stone and crystal-decorated sanctum of the ancient deity of earth magic. A statue of his likeness, a wyvern born without wings, is the site of many a pilgrimage, and is cared for by devoted monks.
