The day takes the world by surprise, landing neither on a holiday nor a day of any celestial or cultural significance. No one expected it, though that is precisely how the most memorable pranks are sprung, and this one is right on track to go down in history.

Some notice the wrongness of the day immediately, unable to recognize the place where they woke up, or perhaps even the body that they woke up in. For others, the oddities are more subtle and are only discovered later in the day. The deviation from normality is a bit different for each person, and seems to follow no rhyme nor reason in determining who is altered in a particular way. It is a truly random ordeal, which cannot be explained through antheneum magic nor a seer's divination.

And, perhaps that is all for the best. Being experienced on a global scale and affecting all of humanity for a full 24 hours, it would be truly alarming to learn that someone (or something) could intentionally cause such a bizarre and widespread event. Perhaps, it is better to write off such a crisis as a will of the world.

The threads for this event will all be member-created, and can be started at any point during the month of April 2020. These threads should inflict your characters with some sort of temporary trope-like effect(s), which can include (but aren't limited to, as long as all's kept PG-13!):
Please include [C&K] somewhere in your thread title(s) to mark it as part of this event, and only make 1 or 2 event threads per character. Also, be aware that you will only get event rewards if your thread is completed before the end of June 2020, and the rewards will probably be something minor and silly. This event is mostly just to have a bit of fun beyond the regular mechanics of the site, so enjoy!
