On the southern edge of the Desert of Lazarus, where mountains form a towering natural barrier, a steep staircase carved into the mountains' sides will lead you up to the Selene Celestial Observatory. This out-of-the-way observatory is above most cloud cover, offering a stunning view of the night sky. The researchers and starcallers who live and work here have compiled a wealth of information in a library attached to the observatory proper.
