Honey, love, dearest, babe, sweetie, darling. This little sparrow has gone through many nicknames over the years, more nicknames than even her witch can remember at a time. Though most have been different alterations of affectionate pet names, there have also been instances of Snowbelle, Golden Girl, Peek-A-Boo, Goldilocks, Baby Kryptonite, and pretty much anything that has come and could come to Eleanor's mind. Darling has never minded. She appreciates her witch's creativity, as well as the special care she has to always make it something cute, something that makes her feel loved. [break][break]
In Eleanor's words, Darling's beak is a bright, beautiful orange that contrasts with her black, cinnamon, and white plumage rather nicely. Lovely bean. At roughly three inches long while inside the city borders, she is one of the smallest avian familiars you'll see. Her head is almost entirely black, with three spots on her forehead as pristine white as the rest of her belly. [break][break]
Outside of Sundial's walls and its resizing enchantments, Darling is as tall as two fully grown men, and just as wide.

By designating a target spot on the ground, the witch can summon a bolt of magical lightning. It can only work when in an open space, and the target location flashes brightly a few seconds prior to the strike. As with all summoning, it uses up the mana of the witch and can be particularly exhausting for beginners. |
