Being primarily an agricultural community, most of Gale Valley's residents live scattered across expansive farmland. However, there is also a central, walled town where the shops, trans-city transportation, and entertainment resides.

There are frequent disputes over individual land rights of these vast expanses of fertile fields, but such disputes tend to be swiftly trivialized in the face of an attack from monstrous creatures (or worse, from wraiths). It is not uncommon to see handfuls of mercenaries patrolling or hunting here, but also not uncommon to see entire fields destroyed or corrupted.
