5 Banded Gliding Lizard | Light | egregie lacerti
[attr="class","inventoryfambody"]
Valoo is a large lizard with a long whip-like tail. On average his main body is probably around 2 ft long and his tail easily doubles his length. His scaly skin is reddish in color and accented with speckles of copper scales that shine more like metal than the rest of his body. There are long iridescent flaps of skin (that look much more like stained glass than skin) that hang from his sides, which he grasps onto to effectively glide on (much like a reptilian flying squirrel). 'Light' is more of a personality trait for Valoo as he tries to keep his witch happy and healthy, and he is essentially the light in Syndi's heart.
[break][break]
When it comes to interacting with friendly persons, Valoo speaks only with simple words phrases and projects complex thoughts behind them to his witch. To strangers, it can come off as abrupt and unspecific. If you were looking for a full discussion, Valoo probably shouldn't be your first choice to speak to.
[break][break]
Valoo doesn't care much for accessories and disdains hats. If you place on on his head he's more apt to eat it than to suffer by wearing it. As it is, he's more like an accessory in himself, his body looking more like a large animate trinket than a living creature. On occasion, he sits immobile for long periods of time before moving suddenly to surprise an innocent bystander.

[attr="class","itemcontainer"]Technique: Flashbang[break] The user summons a brilliant flash of light that temporarily blinds those that see it. The length of which it can be maintained and the brightness of the flash depend on the skill of the user. Witches of all ranks should be wary of using this technique - a bright and uncontrolled enough flash can run the risk of permanent vision damage, both to others and to themselves. Fledglings especially should be cautious practicing this technique.
[attr="class","itemcontainer"]Technique: Orb Creation[break] This allows the user to create a simple orb of light which can float about the user. The witch can use it to illuminate rooms, or serve as a distraction. |

[attr="class","itemcontainer"]BEARS EAT BEETS[break] People can be petty and mean in their teasing. Spellsingers have both the musical training and the mana manipulation to take this petty teasing to the next level. And so, ‘Bears Eat Beets’ was created. The spell works by mimicking the targets mannerisms - the way they talk, sing, or perform an instrument - but scrambling them in such a way that they become nonsensical. This new, weird mix of familiar sounds causes confusion in those that hear it, even if they are not overly familiar with the person being mimicked.
[attr="class","itemcontainer"]JAZZ FOR YOUR SOUL[break] ‘Jazz for Your Soul’ has suffered some memetic mutation in recent years, but this set of basic, down tempo songs is a great building block to learning how to create soothing environments that don't cause people to fall asleep (unless you’re trying to do that!), and to destroy the feeling of aggression in others.
[attr="class","itemcontainer"]LOST IN THOUGHT[break] A scroll that pertains the lyrics to an ancient song and the details to properly utilize the potential hidden deep within its words and haunting melody. Lost in Thought utilizes the voice or instrument of the witch and when performed properly, taps into the mana found within the area to rejuvenate weakened witches. The spell is not to be taken lightly and can pose a potential threat to the performer if the spell is used often within a short period of time, however, minimal usage can still cause some fatigue. |

[attr="class","itemcontainer"]Golden Bell A small, golden bell that appears to have been taken from a fool’s cap. This object was given upon being accepted into Jester's Den. Though it seems like a simple keepsake, this item will serve as your character’s lifeline in the face of imminent peril. When the bearer’s mana reaches critical levels, all items made similarly will begin to glow as a mass signal is sent to witches of your coven, allowing them to come to your aid should anything happen. May be used once to escape death. |
