Sometimes Korrine has to stop and wonder why her familiar is Era, honestly. She loves him as a part of herself, but he does tend to test her patience. Era appears as a large rough-legged buzzard, with the brown and cream feathers sported by the species. He stands at a foot tall and has a wing span of five feet. Era's eyes are a bright piercing yellow and he often materialises with what could best be described as a hooded cloak. It serves no function, aside from making him look utterly fabulous, and does not seem to impede on his flying.[break][break]
Being both a bird and an air element familiar, Era favours being in high up places and revels showing off his flashy flying skills for all women present. He literally thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread. In a mirrored reflection of Korrine's own restrained and moderate, 'prudish' behaviour, Era is a hormonal teenager by spirit and by action. He is loud and temperamental and cares a good deal about what others think of him. Era is also irredeemably thankless, seldom showing appreciation for anyone or anything. At times his attitude towards Korrine borders on indifference.[break][break]
However capricious Era is, however, he is, ultimately, committed to Korrine's success. He often laments having a weak witch to be bound to but remains a part of her, which he cannot escape. As such, he wants to see her thrive and grow stronger.[break][break]
He loves bacon and roosting on top of Korrine's wardrobe.[break][break]
