wake up, wake up little sheep.
[break][break]
because the world is not what you think it is. you march along and along to the beat of a drum that isn't yours. on and on you go, blind. committing ignorant atrocities and saying colourless apologies - there is no way to you can compensate for the sins you're piling on the world. and yet, there you are, trying. perhaps you saw something. a rip in the fabric, a slip in the act. whatever it was, something comes to you, something pushes you. you know that you are wrong my little sheep, and thus you seek a shepherd to guide you.
[break][break]
and so you chose me.
[break][break]
do you remember your face, the first time I told you the truth behind the lies? the shock you've had when your picture perfect parents were revealed as tyrants? the siblings you cared for turning out to be little spies because they knew you were different, that you would deviate? or the servants that watched you, becoming the bars to a gilded prison you never realized existed? I remember. I remember the hurt, and then I remember the anger. I remember how you screamed and cried and raged. I remember seeing the hate in your eyes for the first time, and I remember thinking how beautiful you were like this. do you remember my little sheep?
[break][break]
I remember.
[break][break]
your magic made your frustrated didn't it? it has no battle applications. you knew this, your parents knew it too. your mother was a shining light, and your father was the chaos drawn in by it. your siblings were all strong too - even the ones younger then you were better in fighting. you felt on the outside, and you knew that ere long, you'd become just a shade. faded history, a footnote, and forgotten. yet you buried it all, with their snake like assurances, and twisted sympathies. still, you didn't want to give up did you? so one night, you confessed to me the key to your heart.
[break][break]
you dreamed to push it all beyond, to make something out of it that nobody else had.
[break][break]
leviathan. the name attributed to many things, but first and foremost something big and grand. that's what first attracted you to them, didn't it? in between the fearful whispers, and the dream to change what the world saw, you listened to me my little sheep. you followed my voice on the path that I showed you. it had always been a choice, you see. did you feel manipulated? you know that's a lie, don't you. so don't dare lie to me, after all didn't I save you? but, lying is what you do, don't you.
[break][break]
you do know that's a sin, don't you?
[break][break]
'it may be a sin, but that was the first lesson you taught me wasn't it? that everyone lies, that everyone sins, and there's no way to compensate. so I woke up. I woke up and saw what you never wanted me to see - the mask you wore. just like me, parts of you are broken, aren't they? and that's ok. we can be broken, we can be shattered. but here, in leviathan, we are family now you see? the solution to the feeling I've always felt, you're the one that guided me to it. I am no longer a little sheep, by your own hand.
[break][break]
I am now a wolf, in sheep's clothing, just like you wanted.
[break][break]
I'll dance upon the liar's tongue, I'll whisper sweet nothings with a knife in my hand. information, knowledge, control. these are things I have, that I obtain easily. magic is my lifeblood - do you know my parents were several steps of just abandoning me in the wild, fodder for the monsters? they could see no trace of my affinity - at least, until my reflection spoke to me. my siblings, now they did all sorts of magics, much to the delight of my parents. but I? I was the so called black sheep, the one with magic that did not fit into family roles.
[break][break]
but I don't care about any of that you see. no rather, something else strikes at me.
[break][break]
this world is madness, it's sickening. they've distorted their own reflections to caricatures of themselves. and like you said, none of them realized it, none of them are awakened to the idea they're doing this. leviathan is the perfect home for me. because it will change the world we see - it will bend the light in a way that show the refraction of hypocrisy. and I will do anything, everything, until that day will arrive. so don't worry anymore about me alright? you can rest now.
[break][break]
I will take your mantle, weaving the cloth of your dreams into a reality. so just sit back and watch, alright?
[break][break]
I promise, it will be satisfying'
