"So what's your name?" asked the child that he was perched upon. [break]
He didn't want to answer. [break]
"...I'm Cici." the child continued, "Are you lost too?" [break]
He knew he wasn't, but he didn't feel like he was anywhere familiar either. He didn't know, so he didn't answer. [break]
"Thank you for helping me so much, I've never been on the otherside before, so this is all new to me." [break]
It was the same case for him, but he probably knew a lot more about it than the child, all thanks to the Father. [break]
"What are you by the way?" the child tilts his head forward, seemingly to pick something off the ground, causing him to start sliding forward. Flapping his wings, he re-balances himself further back on the child's mask, and starts to move his beak."Bird." His harsh, grinding voice grates against the silence making him cringe. He doesn't like it. [break]
The child stands up again. "Hmm..." He pauses in thought. "Bird isn't a very good name." [break]
He agrees, it would be like him calling the child... 'child'...
He stops for a moment and corrects himself. It would be like him calling Cici 'child'. [break]
Cici starts to walk again. "You don't talk very much, so what if I called you Quiet?" [break]
He begins flapping his wings, lifting himself off of Cici and gliding towards a bush a few meters away. [break]
"Thank goodness!" Cici trots over with excitement and starts picking the berries with care. Being thorough to pick all the way to as far up as he could possibly reach. He examines the berries carefully and begins plopping them into his mouth a few at a time. [break]
He starts doing the same, feasting on the blue orbs all along the area that Cici couldn't reach.
Feeling full, he glides back down to perch atop Cici. Getting comfortable he finally decides to speak once again. "Mute." [break]
Cici stops chewing for a moment to think, then starts to talk with his mouth full "Mute the silent bird." He gulps the rest of what's in his mouth "Okay."
Putting the leftover berries in his pouch, Cici wipes his face with his cape and put his mask back down.
"Where to next, Mute?"
