“you’re a god,” evander breathed, unaware of, or perhaps simply not acknowledging, the destruction brought upon the room.
[break][break]
the creature laughed, and the house shook with it. “a god, you say? no, my dear boy—”
[break][break]
[break][break]
caelus is a being of magnificence; when he first came to evander, despite his great care, the west wing of the manor was wrought with broken wood and splintered home. standing at a true height of what could only be approximated at thirty feet, he now — under magical restriction — has eased down to a height of roughly six feet at the shoulder, merely a head shorter than his witch, with a length of fifteen feet, giving his form a lithe, yet menacingly powerful glow.
[break][break]
being of no “pure” being, caelus is a hybridized species — a crossbreed between two enormously revered creatures, the offspring of a tiger and lioness. he does not say why he chose to come to evander this way, and the witch must content himself with this; at times, he no longer wants to know.
[break][break]
caelus, in mannerisms, is as much a kindly old man as he is a fierce young warrior; he is staunchly protective, though he does not grow overbearing; he is a strong fighter, though he does not relish the opportunity; he imparts knowledge and guidance where he feels it is necessary, though he does not rescind individuality. he knows when to be what.
[break][break]
as he is a male specimen of the form, while his fur is a mesmerizing, smoldering golden tabby with darkened bolts striking down his bodice as a great tiger would display, he further prides himself on a barbary mane of burnt umber and honeyed strokes, his face sporting a rosette patterning reminiscent of juvenile lions, despite how clearly his age and character counter this image of youth. his eyes speak only of night, an ever present warning that though he seems tame for his bonded, there is no domestication in his spirit.
[break][break]
his voice, when he speaks, is soothing yet powerful — it reverberates, and shakes with his presence, and reminds those who hear him either of a wise mentor or of a mighty god awaiting to wield his sentencing upon the damned. it is not uncommon for him to be feared yet admired in the same breath, though he pays no mind to this. his primary focus is the wellbeing of evander, and his mere appearance at the knight’s side tends to play as an important reminder that he is watching—

[attr="class","inventorybody2"]
[attr="class","stafftempitem"]Stance Shift Another simplistic technique, this allows the witch to slightly modify the ground, creating snags or small cracks to trip the enemy or create moderately unfavorable terrain. As the witch’s rank increases, though, the depth and severity of these snags also increase with masters being able to create miniature plateaus and craters. |
[attr="class","stafftempitem"]Spears The witch manipulates the rock underneath the target and pulls from it stone spears, skewering the target and effectively holding them still for a time. Less experienced witches can't create many spears or even detach them from the main stone body, but highly skilled witches can create multiple spears, detach them, refine them, and even chase the target with them. |

[attr="class","stafftempitem"]Illumination Inscribed in this scroll are directions for creating a source of light. Witches can brighten rooms and people, as well as make special effects such as a flare or spotlight, making it a popular scroll in the entertainment sector. The illumination isn’t from fire or from actual light-manipulation, but rather from magical enhancement of the mana. |

[attr="class","stafftempitem"]BAG OF HOLDING This is a standard but eternally useful weaver product. Fledgling weavers may only manage a small sack that holds on item, but masters may manage a haven bag that one could use as a house! |
[attr="class","stafftempitem"]ELEMENTAL THREAD Draws mana of particular elements to perform various tasks, such as creating oven mitts you can't accidentally burn yourself while using simply because it slipped off slightly. There are offensive uses like making a fireball more explosive, but generally this kind of thread is used to protect. |
[attr="class","stafftempitem"]STRANGLE SCARF A spurned lover channeled their love into the thread used to create a final gift. After all, the object of their affection could never escape their loving grasp. The Strangle Scarf is used to demonstrate to weavers why they need to be careful in what they create, no matter how practiced they are. The idea is simple: take the idea of a clingy piece of fabric or a magically snug piece of clothing and remove all the safeguards on the item so that it continues to constrict. Depending on the durability of the scarf, the target could cut the scarf off with ease, or have to take more drastic measures. |
[attr="class","stafftempitem"] RED STRING: SENSATION[break] A series of scrolls which most weavers learn prior to attempting the more advanced "Intangible" series, the Red String teaches weavers how to move intangible concepts through a physical thread. By tying each end of a string to two different living creatures, the sensory inputs of these creatures will then flow freely between each other for as long as the link of the thread remains intact. The type of sense shared is typically only one at a time, depending on the nature of the string the weaver uses. |

[attr="class","stafftempitem"]Knight's Crest A shining crest that bears the symbol of the Helios Knights. This object was given upon being accepted into the Helios Knights. Though it seems like a simple keepsake, this item will serve as your character’s lifeline in the face of imminent peril. When the bearer’s mana reaches critical levels, all items made similarly will begin to glow as a mass signal is sent to witches of your coven, allowing them to come to your aid should anything happen. May be used once to escape death. |
