[attr="class","wantpost"]uhhh okay so basically i want to further explore maddox's family - the rothscuses. consider this an 'open' kind of ad, since you don't have to create a new character for this; i'm more than welcome to have existing characters have this as a kind of minor thing in their backstory. gonna apologise for some self-indulgent expository weeps [break][break]
tl;dr i just want some criminal buddies who may have known maddox's family / knows maddox as a criminal heir ( so if u got an idea from this tl;dr then pls skip the rest bc it's trash )[break][break]
the rothscus family: a crime family that rose to prominence approximately 70 years ago during the great war*. their infamy unstable but undeniable, in hiding the next and in broad daylight the other. it is said that they reached a new height under the leadership of the three siblings - rosanna, areli, and aeris. seventeen years ago, areli rothscus was murdered. fifteen years ago, the family cut back considerably, withdrawing almost to the point of invisibility.[break][break]
currently: they do not flaunt past glories but aeris, at least, commands respect. he works as a blacksmith, and an informant if you know how to ask right. the son, maddox, is essentially a thug for hire in his criminal capacity.[break][break]
* for members of coven leviathan, they were additionally known as staunch loyalists and capable purifiers, priding themselves on being enforcers of the coven's will.[break][break]
basically, i'm looking for people who might have known the family back in the day, maybe some plots with fellow crime families and shady people. maybe some characters who have worked with aeris in the past - cue an odd friendship of "oh hi lmao my dad worked with your dad remember". maybe people who currently still go to them for shadier ongoings; insert some fun criminal missions here.[break][break]
i don't have anything to offer except my eternal gratitude and maddox's trashy friendship/loyalty but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe there's a revival of organised crime 'round sundial one day, who knows. just wanna get this loser more in touch with the other side of the family i guess hjdsfhkd
