The family Argentia was always viewed of as righteous witches of the Helios Knights coven. They have a history of stopping dangerous criminals and monsters until their last breath. Their names have been passed down from generations to generations, and they have always stuck to the tradition of vanquishing evil, not giving them a chance. No criminal is ever spared when it comes to the Argentia family, even if they could still give them a second chance. For the Argentia bloodline, evil will always be evil and will not change.
[break][break]The beginning of the rise of this family can be dated centuries ago, at the birth of Inguis Argentia. He was one of the feared and respected names known to Sundial, and maybe to all of Salem. He has defeated and vanquished the lives of so many enemies back then, and his blood and traditions have been passed down with ease. His views and beliefs against evil were, to some, met with agreement, while to some, it wasn't right.
[break][break]Soon, however, these views are about to be changed.
[break][break]
Emery was born to the Argentia bloodline, a legendary name that spread all across Salem. Born along with three brothers and one younger sister, she was blessed with glory and honor, for being born to a family with a rich bloodline. She was taught the views and beliefs of the Argentia at such an early age of 2, though mostly she did not understand these views at all, given that her brain still hasn't developed to fully understand everything.
[break][break]By the age of 7-years old, her parents have already trained her on how to be a soldier to the name she was born to. It was rough, learning how to hold a sword and trying to beat her father in sword training, but she managed to live through it. It took her years before she finally mastered the art of swordsmanship at the early age of 15.
[break][break]Most of her childhood was spent in closed doors, as her parents believe she should not trifle with commoners from outside their home. So instead she plays dangerous games with her siblings, who are equally and skillfully trained to be soldiers someday. Everyday after they woke up, they would chase each other in the halls and slash sharp knives at each other. They would get reprimanded by their maids for doing such dangerous things, but they continued on it anyway.
[break][break]Because, what else could they do when they were supposed to be indoors for the rest of their childhood life?
[break][break]
A strange thing happened to her when she was 17. It was always the usual routine around the circle of her family; training, dueling with her siblings, and staying indoors. Emery didn't know why, but she longed to go outside. She now wanted to enjoy the sun. Meet other people. Experience a life she had never had before. Her life was certainly not the usual one normal children would go through. Normal children would experience the love and care of their parents, and their watchful eyes looking over you as you grow up. Her parents only cared about ever training her siblings and making them grow up young.
[break][break]But then, there came the case their grandfather had gone through.
[break][break]Yuin Argentia, a great man in the Argentia bloodline, has been accused of murdering his own brother. There was no proof to this, and Emery had known her grandfather all too well; while hot-headed at times, he would never hate one person, much less murder them. She immediately knew that the accusation against him was false, and she wanted to prove it true.
[break][break]All seemed lost when her grandfather was scheduled for execution for the next three days.
[break][break]Then, a day before her grandfather was to be executed in the morning, her father came to her that night and woke her up from sleep. She walked out of her bedroom quietly and headed outside of the doors of their home, their family and a freed and glad grandfather all set to leave the Argentia house.
[break][break]Once all of them were complete, they set off in the darkness, covered in robes.
[break][break]They arrived at the port after miles of walking, and waited for nighttime to come before they would finally ride a ship to their escape. Emery didn't know whatever would happen in the Argentia house, but then she didn't care. Her family had had enough of the treacherous rules of the man behind it all.
[break][break]They were finally free.
[break][break]
It took them three days, travelling with the ship and rounding the whole continent of Salem before they stopped by an unknown town; Sundial. In this city guarded by a large wall that protected them from the monsters that lurk outside of it, there were no rules, no executions, and enough free will for them to roam around; it was everything to Emery. This life was perfect enough.
[break][break]Living and moving into Sundial took time to adjust to, but finally she could see the sun, she could meet new people, she could run around. Her parents softened up a bit, realizing as time went on that they were out of the Argentia tradition now. They would still keep their name, though; they would be soldiers for rightful good, wanting to help Sundial every way they can.
[break][break]Emery was 23 when she was newly introduced as a fledgeling to the Helios Knights coven. It had everything; friends, missions, and the moral to defend and be a rightful force to Sundial. Now she walks around having the Knight's Crest held into her heart, a proud soldier for the righteous law.
