There is always pride in this noble cat's heart. Rogue is not afraid to prove how much is stronger than the others, unless Emery tells him to shut up. But Rogue is not one to be shut off that easily, either. Rogue views himself as the higher up, and would command others as if they are lower classes without realizing who there are. He would not care, either way. He is too proud to even read the titles of others he is supposedly commanding.
[break][break]But behind all this is a caring cat, comparable to a father who would give congratulations to their child if they have done their task well. He worries for others, especially for Emery, who he is fiercely loyal to. He has a sense of humor as well and would take a joke or two, but making fun of Emery will not stand unless Emery confirms it to be just a joke. He is half the soul and wit of the blonde; whatever her fate would be his fate as well.
[break][break]Rogue's fur is a share of golden brown and darker brown, as if tanned from all the heat of the sun. Black stripes also adorn his fur in varying lengths and widths. His usual size is usually that of a normal african wildcat, but he can grow into that of a dog, or larger than that, but would not be able to grow taller than a horse or his own familiar.

PERMANENT - NOVICE BEASTS AND BECOMING, SCROLL #5
through this item, emery is able to change out some of her features to that of rogue's permanently. however, this item only allows her to switch her ears, eyes, fingers, teeth, and some parts of her skin. blue eyes become yellow, similar to that of a cat's. her ears become that of a feline, protruding upward from the side of her head; her hair covers the parts where her human ears used to be. her fingers are sharpened a little bit, similar to claws, and her teeth become a bit sharper. black stripe-like patches cover part of her skin; some slitting through her arms, some creating patterns on her abdomen, and a little on her face. through this, she also shares some of the senses of her familiar; through her ears, she is able to hear properly, and she could see more things and is able to see more distances away than the normal human. claws are used to defend herself from monsters or other beings, though she could use this against witches if the situation falls for it.

SPEARS
TECHNIQUE - EARTH
The witch manipulates the rock underneath the target and pulls from it stone spears, skewering the target and effectively holding them still for a time. Less experienced witches can't create many spears or even detach them from the main stone body, but highly skilled witches can create multiple spears, detach them, refine them, and even chase the target with them.

TECHNIQUE - EARTH
The witch can now summon a thick wall of rock to easily shield them from oncoming attacks from a given direction. Of all elemental defenses, this one is most pesky to get past, but can be blasted away with enough effort, or moved around if the placement is not good enough.

ROCK TRIGGER
TECHNIQUE - EARTH
The user pools a large amount of mana into the ground creating a seal of explosive earth magic. The seal then requires another burst of mana pushed into it that causes a quick and sudden explosion spraying the area with sharp rocks within the seal's zone of influence. Can be triggered by anyone's mana once it is set but the seal is highly volatile and can explode without warning.

EARTH DRAGON BULLET
TECHNIQUE - EARTH
A rocky dragon is created from the earth and subsequently launched at a target at high speeds. The size of the dragon and the speed at which it travels is determined by a user's experience and rank. Skilled practitioners will be able to control the movement of the dragon even after it has been launched.

when used, a bit of the earth juts out suddenly from the ground, forming an earthen pillar. can have a variety of uses, but inexperienced witches won’t be able to create sturdy or very high structures using this, instead being able to jut out rocks or the like.

the witch can now summon cracks along the ground. they cracks appear at a slowed rate, and must always begin from the caster. so enemies further away will likely be able to avoid the attack. however, it still works well with dispersing the enemy.

This scroll allows the witch to temporarily share in their familiar's sensory input, including but not limited to sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing. Fledglings may only be able to access one of their familiar's senses at a time, and only for a short time, but masters can all but experience the world through their familiar.

SCROLL - GENERAL
allows the witch to awaken anyone who is asleep or in a sleep like state (astral projection) by jilting then with a surge of mana. requires physical contact to work and cannot be used on yourself. works well against weaker sleeping spells or curses.

SCROLL - TRANSFIGURATION SYN Can synthesize as PERMANENT (ANY AFF) items
Boureen Blinkcast, a philosopher who believed that animals were the key to all magic and that transfiguration was the only ‘true affinity,’ wrote a long and much criticized grimoire titled Beasts and Becoming. The first scroll teaches a witch how to develop aquatic characteristics such as fins, gills or a tail on themselves or others. This spell is infinitely more complex for those without aquatic familiars.

SCROLL - TRANSFIGURATION
This scroll allows the witch to change glass into sand. Unlike “Metal to Wood”, this scroll’s effects are permanent unless untransfigured, or the witch is seriously lacking skill.

SCROLL - TRANSFIGURATION SYN Can synthesize as PERMANENT (ANY AFF) items
Similar to the fourth scroll of the same series, this spell enables a witch to switch out features like limbs, eyes, ears, etc. However, this spell can only be applied to the witch performing it, and limbs and organs may only be transfigured into that of the user’s familiar. The upside to this technique is that its effects last a lot longer than most transfiguration scrolls, without irreversible consequences.

when a very angry alchemist and a jerk transfiguration genius became friends, a beautiful and spiteful duo was created. when ink meets parchment, the transfiguration activates or alchemic reaction occurs, transforming the innocent sheet of paper to a loving message of loathing and hate. any attempt to continue writing continues to reveal said message.

EXTRAPLANAR SHIFT: ATRONACHADV

this scroll allows the transfigurer to shift themselves into the form of an atronach of their own element. these beings are humanoid in shape, but comprised entirely of an elemental substance. while shifted, the witch's elemental magic strength is greatly enhanced, though other affinity spells cast by them will be less effective.

SCROLL - TRANSFIGURATION
from a large tome detailing how to transform into magical creatures, this particular chapter focuses on how to transfigure oneself into a gryphon. with the back of a lion and the head and wings of a bird of prey, these creatures are strong enough to fly while carrying 2-3 human passengers.

SCROLL - AUGMENTATION
a gigantic grimoire with over a hundred scrolls, this particular scrollbook was created by vladus boone. he studied for years pretending to be an enchanter before eventually publishing this grimoire in order to prove that “augmentation can do it better”. unfortunately, people used it as an excuse to say that augmentation was less than enchantment (at the time). now, it’s a mandatory augmentation grimoire for all new learners. this one teaches a witch how to reinforce glass (esp. vials) to be resistant against collision, damage, breakage or others.

part of arkhanka themisis' 'witchcraft for dummies' series, this scroll caters to the basics of augmentation - the ability to manipulate the attribute of strength. upon being cast on an item, person, or themselves, the subject will find their strength increasing several fold. while this boost isn't much for beginners, more experienced witches can cast augments that will increase their strength by thrice their actual ability.

When the bearer’s mana reaches critical levels, all items made similarly will begin to glow as a mass signal is sent to witches of your coven, allowing them to come to your aid should anything happen. May be used once to escape death.

(protects your character from harm for 1 post. can only be used once per thread. will not work against all types of damage, such as from poisons.)

this short, metal rod is adorned at the top with a single copper wing with 3 crystalline, feather-shaped inserts. when someone plucks a feather from this wing, similarly-shaped copper and crystal wings sprout from their ankles and both sides of their head, inexplicably allowing them to fly for a moderate period of time. each feather regrows just a few minutes after being removed.

CLEANSING SHARD

An unassuming shard of selenite, no larger than a human thumb. The material will absorb poisons and impurities of a non-magical or weakly magical nature from its surroundings, visibly darkening the more it absorbs. Such shards are used often by world leaders and high-visibility personalities when they're offered a drink in a crowd, simply dropping it in their cup and waiting a few seconds before taking a sip. Be aware that it also purifies alcohol, so it isn't very fun at parties!

The legendary Sunspear wielded by Naseera Shaer, one of Sundial City's founders, was thrown once again in recent memory following the temporary reanimation of her peacefully entombed body in Eclipse Town's catacombs. Embers from this weapon are notoriously resilient, remaining alight even when in contact with ice and water. When mana is pushed into one of these embers, it will burst into a small firestorm, roughly 5 meters in diameter and 3 standard building stories in height, afterwards rendering the ember ashen and inert. Note that these embers can be used as a dim light and meager source of heat without expending one of its limited uses.
