Tory Hada... what's there to say about your average boy? Raised by two witches, he began his younger years by studying and trying hard to be something. In-fact, he almost craved it. He wanted to be just like those knights in the stories told around the playground. He knew the fame and power that would come with that title and for a young boy, what more could you ask for? Perhaps a fancy home and all the food you can eat. Though with age comes change, and with change comes.. well... look where we are now. Tory's rebellious phase of growing up only became an on-grown reluctance for the potential held in store for our protagonist. The pressure that came with skilled parents became the fall of all his hopes and dreams... with a single crack right down the middle.
[break][break]
Preteen Tory. The angsty Tory; 14 years old. That crack now becoming a solid gash in his hopes and dreams. Tory decided his training didn't even need magic! If he could take up some sort of physical training and be able to knock that wand out of their hands before they used it, who would need magic? Those tasks people wanted done? Well, we've got this far without using magic, why begin to use it now? Tory Hada, the pre-teen was going to be a hero one way or another. Screw the knights - he'll make his own coven. Right?
[break][break]
Now let's meet Tory in the present days. 19 years, hating his familiar for at least 5 of those and the only coven he was able to get was viewed as one of the biggest mockeries. Heck yeah. That goal he had in mind before? It worked out a tiny bit. He started training but gave it up eventually when he realized his efforts were for naught. Though hidden beneath all of that teenage angst and regret is a huge amount of passion and dreams pushed down right below his guts. His parents still have a burst of hope for their once "boy-genius" son. Who knows? Maybe that cove dream is still possible.
