The Great Horned Owl is a noble owl species and Acorn is no exception, despite her simple name. She's on the smaller side of her species, with an overall height of 3'07" (109 cm) and a wingspan of 3'11" (119 cm). Her small stature doesn't make her any lighter than the average Great Horned Owl in terms of weight, however, and she weighs around 3.5 lbs (1.587 kg). [break][break]
Acorn's feather coloration is various shades of brown, tan, and white. Her facial disc is outlined in black with brown feathers to accentuate her piercing yellow eyes and small but sharp beak. Two protrusions made of feathers accent the top of her head, giving her a horned look. [break][break]
While Acorn isn't the smartest owl around, she's quite protective and caring about Lenora. Acorn's known to perch on Lenora's shoulder or backpack, silently keeping an eye on their surroundings while trying not to impede Lenora's sight or movement. Despite the owl's best efforts, she's prone to falling asleep quite easily. If either of them think the area is safe, Acorn's prone to dozing off. [break][break]
It's not recommended to have small, skittering things around Acorn. She enjoys the hunt and is prone to attacking (or playing with) anything that moves like a mouse, squirrel, or lizards. She'll ruffle and poof her feathers out before pouncing on her target, though, so there's time to stop her if you know what you're looking for. [break][break]

Elemental skills can be earned all the same ways that an elemental technique can be earned, but there aren't many of them, so it's quite rare to have one!
Light Techniques
[attr="class","item"]
PRISMAWIRE
Technique - Light
This technique allows the witch to form wires made of light. Controlled by the hands, the more experienced a witch is the more dexterous and lethal this technique can become. A beginner might only be able to partially bind or trip an opponent, but an experienced witch would be able to create more wires, manipulate them, throw them, control their momentum, etc. This technique receives its name from the brilliant flashes of colour and light the wires radiate.
[attr="class","item"]
RESTORING LIGHT
Technique - Light
A spell that envelopes the target in a beam of bright light. This spell heals all minor wounds such as cuts or bruises as well as gives a temporary boost to any light-based spells' power cast by the target as long as the spell is active. Like most basic healing spells, this technique cannot reattach limbs, repair large gashes, or fully repair any other kind of near-fatal injury.

APERI PORTAM
Scroll - General
Unlocks non-enchanted locks with the user’s mana. The caster must be within sight of the lock, but not necessarily next to it. The spell will create a visible spark effect on enchanted locks as the mana bounces off the still locked door.
Alchemy Scrolls
[attr="class","item"]
ANTIVENIN
Scroll - Alchemy SYN Can synthesize as LIMITED USE items
A potion meant to counteract the effects of a variety of poisons. Its effectiveness depends both on the skill of the alchemist who made it and the potency of the toxin which it’s attempting to counteract. In many cases, the negative effects are merely mitigated rather than healed completely.

KNIGHT'S CREST
COVEN TRINKET - Helios Knights Fledgling (unused)
A shining crest that bears the symbol of the Helios Knights. This object was given upon being accepted into the Helios Knights. Though it seems like a simple keepsake, this item will serve as your character’s lifeline in the face of imminent peril. When the bearer’s mana reaches critical levels, all items made similarly will begin to glow as a mass signal is sent to witches of your coven, allowing them to come to your aid should anything happen. May be used once to escape death.
