Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
I love this forums to bits already, but I have a few quick thoughts for possible things? (pls shoot me down if i'm being unreasonable XD)
a member directory might be nice? it'd probably make it easier to find everyone's characters too
maybe a census of how many people of every affinity there is? i could create an unofficial census like lynx did with the coven census if that's easier?
a Discord server
just a thought that i don't know if is even feasible/possible
I was thinking, maybe once every week/two weeks/month, a character can create something (ICly/through their affinity) and sell it in the shop or gift it to another character? For instance, my chara could create a protective talisman, or an alchemist could create a potion, or a character could figure out a (low-level) spell and thus create a scroll, or something like that? This could open up a whole lot of personalised gifts and/or plot points for later on (a character could start to be known for their work/advancements in their field ICly, etc)
Alternatively, maybe customised items/scrolls/gifts can be bought/given in the shop?

1. ah, thanks for pointing this out. the staff has started work on the member directory so hopefully this one can be implemented soon.
2. hmm, well, the staff has a sort of rough estimate in the works in which we're going to be counting each affinity and element when the inventories are accepted. you can find them in the gdoc for scrolls (the number next to the affinity's name!). it is not complete. if you would like to do something like this except less roughly and on an official page of the site, you are welcome to!
if you do go and create an unofficial census, please keep it as a new post within the board created by Q, so we have all our demographics in one place. thank you so much!
3. while this is definitely under consideration, we dislike that a discord server can make the site's cbox seem less active. it will definitely be put to use in the future, likely when we feel the site is established enough. thank you for the suggestion regardless, since we're glad to know there is genuine interest in a site discord uwu
4. this would be... hard to implement and not very feasible with the current systems of the site. if you're looking for scroll creation that is possible. and created scrolls are often restocked at the shop, so we might be able to tweak the system in the future to enable this. however, we want to steer clear from gifting as an OOC system, so we will be tentatively denying this idea for now. apologies, but we'll let you know if we figure out a middle ground. thank you!
