Daphne Atmore was the second of five siblings born into the Atmore family. The Atmores were a clan than a simple nuclear family and while they held no fame nor fortune in the city of Sundial - - they were but a vital element of the Leviathan circle. Having served the coven for generations, Daphne was expected to be inducted into the fallen coven like her father and those before. But while she's proud of her heritage, the new addition to the coven takes her duties rather carelessly despite her sworn loyalty. Maybe there's more to what lies on the surface. Or maybe...she's just an asshat.

Let's take a closer look, shall we?

Twelve mighty pillars surrounded my city, their presence a reminder of the power the Helios Knights held. They protected us and were heroes for every child to look up to. I was no different, for the stories behind them inspired the hero in me to rise and take a stand. I wanted to be a Helios Knight some day, a dream I was willing to give give up everything for. But alas! No one would know that. Or rather, no one could know that. I could fantasize all I wanted about the Helios Knight, but the bitter truth always served to remind me that such a dream would always be just that -- a dream. [break] [break]
But! The naive child in me tried anyway. Day after day, my childhood was wasted away in the most peculiar of manner. I'd do my bit and train under the Atmore banner during the day, satiating my family as I met the bare minimum required of me. But that was because the training my family had me undergo was but lax and surely not enough for a future Helios Knight. I knew I could do better and impress the protectors of our city. And so, I picked Augmentation. The resources weren't easy to come by, but it was a rarer art and one less explored. I wanted to be an asset and so -- regardless of hardships I faced -- I took it up. For them.
[break][break]
At the age of sixteen, I was ready. My spells may have been basic and my execution far from perfect, but I was confident I knew more than the average novice witch. Slipping away from training one day, I'd make my way to the grounds my family forbade me from; the Helios Knight Coven. It was prestigious and I was awestruck to be able to enter. With eyes full of ambition and a book of spells to back me up, I'd voice my intentions to join.
[break][break]
All to be laughed at.
[break] [break]
I was confused and embarrassed -- my cheeks flushed and I suddenly regretted coming her. They took pity on me and with on the head, told to go home. This was apparently no place for children. It didn't matter that I could perform rare found feats; I lacked on thing and one thing alone. It being, power. I ran back home with tears streaming down my face; my dreams shattered as reality hit hard. I couldn't believe it; the so-callee saviors I looked up to were but reserved for the rich and power. I learned my place the hard way; I wasn't destined for greatness. Nay, I was a nobody.
[break][break]
The years that followed were dry and dreary; my younger self turning reclusive and bitter. I lost my motivation to strive for the better, and instead of training, wasted away my youthful days being a troublemaker. The handful of tricks in my arsenal were used to steal or prank. I'd stray away from training, disinterested in being another Atmore under the Leviathan banner. I still had the desire to be different and unique - - to stand out and house power like no other. But the reality check I had been subjected to soon broke my stubborn will. I realized how I loathed the uppity folk of the reowned coven. I realized I grew bitter and resentful.
[break][break]
And I realized that I could be more... Through Leviathan. [break][BREAK]
Thus at the age of nineteen, I stopped my shenanigans. I thought over it all; met folk and friends that guided my ideologies. And soon, I'd make hp my mind on what I wanted to do. Returning to my clansfolk, I redeemed myself to my family and genuinely swore upon being a Leviathan. They were glad -- they didn't know what I had been through. Perhaps it should stay that way; because I've got plans. Plans not just for my people and my coven, but plans against that fake, pampered coven. Am I bitter? Maybe. But I'll grow stronger. Just watch.
and then there was
this asshole

little old me
seeking out my destiny

their lies had me taken
and thus the truth had my hopes forsaken

I nodded when told my place
but the smile they saw was venom-laced
