❀ by the time she was old enough to remember, Andy's parents had stopped calling her Andora and had begun calling her Andy. She still felt loved, but suddenly the smiles and the hugs and the encouragement became more reserved. Over time, she was continually pushed aside, and it took her a while to find out why - she was born to a rich, exclusive family in a clan of summoners. Of course clans weren't as common nowadays, but her family was clearly trying to continue to hold a certain amount of influence and power in the modern age and were unimpressed to see that their daughter did not hold the same powers.[break][break]
❀ fortunately for Andy, her family wasn't about to cast her out on the street like in days of old, but they were quick to remind her that had she been born centuries back, it would have been her fate. As she grew older, into an impressionable teen, she rebelled more and more against the strict rules of her family and desperately wanted to become more in touch with her familiar and her own affinity. She didn't receive the same support her twin brother did - at a strangely young age he had learned his familiar's name and was practicing summoning in the Helios Knights, the coven their parents subscribed to. ❀ as she grew older and gained the freedoms a young adult has, Andy took more and more time for herself, escaping into the garden to meditate and focus on her affinity - enchanting. Of course, of all of them, she would end up with the one that historically was the least respectable, and even if there were magnificent enchantresses today, her parents still looked down their noses at them, Andy included. It took acceptance for her to finally hear the voice and name of her familiar, and the girl broke down crying in the yard, a cathartic moment that would define the next years of her life and light a fire in her heart. ❀ even though her parents "loved" her, and her and Morgan had always gotten along and he was sympathetic towards her, Andy knew she would be marching to a different drum. At 18, before initiation into the Helios Knights, she left home to join Joker's Den. Their relaxed and carefree attitude really resonated with her and she felt like she could finally be herself among like-minded people, and practice her trade.[break][break]
❀ her dream is to master charms, and open a store of sorts or sell her skills for others. As trivial as it may be to some, she knows that if she perseveres, she can make a go of anything.
