This item allows a pre-existing character or a new character to have a specified tie or bond with an NPC including distant familial ties, official or unofficial mentorships, in-depth previous encounters, etc. In addition, for every other quest completed by the character they may thread with the specified NPC free of cost. The member may select who to give the item to upon obtaining it, but once used it can not be transferred or sold. A witch with this technique can now glide over surface by freezing them as they move. After a short burst of momentum, they can skate across fields. It’s trickier with harsher terrain, and beginners end up falling and hurting themselves. A lot.

This enables the witch to materialize ice over a large distance,making them able to create bridges or pathways in the air.

Slicer
Technique - Ice
This enables the witch to create blades of ice with a swipe on thin air and flint it to their target. The sharpness, speed, size, and the number of blades depends on the witch's rank. Fledglings at best can only create small blades which deal scratches upon hitting, while masters of this technique are able to create blades which can easily cut through most structure and deal serious cuts if they hit.

Technique - Ice
Allows the user to create a makeshift armor of ice around their body. This increases their durability in exchange for a decrease in agility, since the ice's frosty nature as well as weight make it more difficult to move quickly. Due to the temperature of this armor, it is not advised to use it for extended periods of time.

Technique - Ice
This allows the user to create a makeshift polearm out of ice, though typically simplistic in shape for the inexperienced. While easier to wield than a standard spear, the technique does demand a degree of weapon mastery, making it difficult to use but rewarding when mastered. The duration of the technique demands on the strength of the witch; fledglings and apprentices are likely to find their weapons shattering after a few hits.

The user creates a thick wall of ice that can act both as a shield or offensively. The size and durability of the wall depends on the skill and experience of the user - experienced witches may even be able to manipulate and move the ice after the technique is cast.

A very simple scroll that almost every witch possesses the knowledge of. It allows the witch and the familiar to switch places at any time or distance from each other. However, sudden switches can leave an inexperienced witch feeling dizzy or disoriented.

The witch can move around objects at their leisure- it’s not intended for offensive use as it’s difficult to make the objects go at high speeds. A witch can mark out an item using this. By giving the mana within the substance a unique shape, the witch will be able to track and distinguish this object. However, when the witch gives the same mark on two similar objects, changes observed in one may be observed in the other for unique communication between teams of witches. This bit of evocation was the first step to building coven trinkets. Not usable on living beings.

Affinity Scroll - Enchantment SYN Can synthesize as REUSABLE items
This scroll teaches the witch how to enchant a pair of mirrors to create a two-way communication device. The reflection of one mirror is shown on the surface of the other, and vice versa, allowing communication between them. The distance for which they are effective is determined by the strength of the witch who created them.

AN ASSORTMENT OF CHARMS, COMPACT JINX
Scroll - Enchantment
The spell is applied to a non-living target through touch. The object will glow briefly before fading away and will show no clear visible signs of being jinxed (unless detected by other means). When the object is activated through touch or by using it in the intended way, it will then crush in on itself e.g. a wardrobe will start to snap and bend until it's a small compact ball of wood. Weaker witches can only use this on objects the size of a chair and of weaker materials, whereas skillful witches could use it on something like a suit of metal armour or small room. .

AN ASSORTMENT OF CHARMS, SCROLL #1: GLUE JINX

While no spell is his, this scroll book was compiled and collected by Triobole Grant. It is one of the first compilations of jinxes ever made (after which experimental witches became less afraid to share their own). This first scroll is a simple jinx which enchants two objects to become attracted to each other. It can be used to bind limbs, create better footing, attempt to scale buildings… or to hang pictures to the wall.

Traditionally used to charm letters and other important documents against theft, and preventing people who were not meant to read them from getting their hands on them. Depending on the witch’s elemental magic, this charm will set a ten-second timer starting from the moment a stranger opens the document, after which it will burn down, crumble down, turn into dust, evaporate, and so on. The charm wears off automatically after the document it protects is opened by its true destinatary. It can also be used on other objects to varying degrees of success.

By constricting the mana around a given territory, the witch can make a target area impossible to escape. Only another witch who knows enchantment or a powerful magical blast/attack will enable trapped beings to escape.

A witch using this scroll can manipulate a small area of about 20 square meters and create a simple law which prevents entry into the space. The evocation is plainly visible on the surrounding ground, however. A scroll that creates a thick, glass like structure within a one meter radius of the witch. It is able to block a magical attack, however it can only defend one witch, and wide attacks can prove tricky.

AUTOMATION CHARM

A scroll that, when performed smoothly, allows the witch to force any object to perform the function it was designed to do. This means that a pair of needles will automatically begin to stitch, or a door will automatically open/close. The simpler the contraption, the easier it is to perform the spell. A witch can make a guess and attempt to use the spell to force a lever or a contraption they know nothing about into action, but depending on how they think it works and how it actually works, well… it might backfire.

EXPEL TRIGGER

By evoking a forced flow of mana into an object - or simply pumping mana into a nonliving thing - the witch is able to send any object smaller than a loaf of bread into a volatile state. A single push will cause the object to explode after this state has been reached-- whether from an accidental step or blast of mana. The power of the explosion is dependent on the affinity of the witch.

VANISHING SPELL

A basic scroll used to cause non-living matter to temporarily cease to exist, used most often to clean up spills and messes on clothes or other easily movable objects. When the vanished object returns, it will be in the same space relative to the earth and moving at the same velocity that it was when it was vanished. Inexperienced witches will only be able to vanish a small quantity, but this amount will increase with skill.

The witch uses their mana to augment the movement and force of air around their attack, creating a ghostly air projectile from their strike. A strong enough witch has been known to even knock back several people with this spell in quick succession. At lower levels it has a similar effect of someone pushing or shoving at you with moderate force. Though this is most commonly used with unarmed attacks, some augmenters have been known to use it on weapon strikes as well.

One of the few surviving scrolls that were retrieved from the ruins of the coven that founded augmentation, this scroll dabbles in augmenting the regenerative ability of a person or creature. By casting this augment on a person, the natural regenerative ability they possess is enhanced to fasten the healing and clotting process. At the hands of a beginner, only minor wounds and bruises are healed, while more experienced witches can heal massive lacerations and reduce blood loss. Only masters of this scroll can cast augments that can heal multiple, life-threatening wounds at a time.

One of the few surviving scrolls that were retrieved from the ruins of the coven that founded augmentation, this scroll dabbles in reinforcing and barricading items or living beings. A practitioner can learn how to reinforce armor or themselves, thus increasing their pain threshold or reducing the frequency and extent of injuries inflicted upon them. As such, this technique is sometimes considered a healing technique of sorts which deals with precaution rather than cure. Masters of the art can fortify themselves by several fold and make themselves impenetrable to attacks for short bursts of time.

A scroll that takes the augmentation of strength to its logical extreme. The witch pours a large amount of augmented mana into the chosen extremity and releases it at the point of contact, giving the blow monstrous strength in that moment. When the bearer’s mana reaches critical levels, all items made similarly will begin to glow as a mass signal is sent to witches of your coven, allowing them to come to your aid should anything happen. This silver ring with a milky-blue centerpiece creates a magical barrier around its wearer when they are in physical danger. GAUNTLETS OF LIFTING

These gauntlets are often mistaken for gauntlets of increased strength. Though they are similar in that they help their wearer carry heavy loads, they actually make the object easier to carry rather than augment the wearer themselves. Any physical item touched by these gauntlets becomes roughly 75% less heavy for as long as it's touched. Unfortunately, they won't help you carry your team.

CHROMATIC RING
REUSABLE ITEM - ADEPT - UNIQUE
This ring allows its wearer to change the color of solid objects by touching them with the finger this ring is worn on. Sliding the finger left to right across the object changes the hue, up and down changes the saturation, and rotating the finger changes the brightness. This change is temporary, of course, so the object will fade back to its prior color over the course of the next hour or so. In addition to the fun antics it was meant for, it can be useful in temporarily hiding written text or causing objects to blend into their surroundings.

SUMMONING SPIRITS: WATER SPRITE
LIMITED USE ITEM - ADEPT - 3 USES
This scroll allows the caster to summon an elemental sprite into the physical plane. Sprites are the weakest spirits of their element, mere infants compared to their powerful counterparts, however that means they are much more happy to be summoned for ‘trivial’ tasks - they generally take the form of small humanoid figures formed of their element, and are capable of flight. They are intelligent and sentient, but though they understand human speech, they cannot speak themselves. Once summoned, they are able to maintain themselves with no additional drain on the mana of the summoner unless they exhaust the mana they themselves possess by using techniques. Sprites generally have very little mana and can only manage a few weak techniques before needing to leave the physical plane. Water sprites are perhaps the calmest of all elemental sprites, usually following a summoner’s request quietly and efficiently. Many prefer to be summoned for healing purposes, though some can be more aggressive - as a whole though, they’ve also demonstrated a marked like for entertaining children and providing companionship. Water sprites tend to dislike being summoned in drier environments.
