Hailey, as Cain calls this little bird by, is the red-head's familiar. it is a small hummingbird-esque creature, standing at only 4 inches high with a wing span of 5 inches. It has a thin long bill, black beady eyes, and its feather design is a flurried mixture of red and orange, almost like fire. Despite her seemingly flashy appearance, Hailey is actually a pretty shy familiar and prefers to stay hidden than be around the presence of others. She even has a hard time communicating with Cain sometimes. The only time she is seen outside is whenever the two are alone, or Cain forces her out of hiding.

Most of the time, this shy little hummingbird prefers to stay hidden in the pockets of Cain's clothing, something that the Godfrey can't really complain about, considering the natural warmth the bird radiates naturally. Though her feathers do not necessarily burn to the touch, they can nonetheless be ignited by the familiar herself, for the sake of self-defense. Or, which happens more times than the former, she gets too flustered and just burns up subconsciously. Hailey can also be rather timid and easily frightened, but when push comes to shove, she is more than willing to step up to the aid of her witch.

Soft-spoken, small, shy and timid, Hailey is a clear contrast to the confident and reckless Godfrey. Due to the nature of her beak, she does not communicate via vocal means, and uses telepathy to either communicate with Cain privately, or as a echoed message of sorts to individuals in the area. And though their personalities and perspectives did not always agree, Cain personally would not abandon Hailey if he was ever given the choice.
