black-backed jackal | ice | Sarvikk Orube
[attr="class","inventoryfambody"]
Sarvikk Orube, dubbed as Khor by his witch Larka, is a mischievous thing, his form only portraying his crass intentions. The familiar is a black-backed jackal and carries a similar look to the actual species, however his pelt and size is different. His back is pure black with gold at the ends of the hair instead of the gray brindle pattern taking place; and his face and lower body is a dull brown. His eyes are a luminous gold, popping out from the subtle ring of white around his eyes. He stands at a solid two feet at the shoulder, his head adding a few more inches of height, especially due to his adorable ears. Overall though, he still has the lean frame that the jackals possess and doesn't weigh more than thirty-five pounds. Either way, many who see him can only describe him as a shifty, malevolent force. While holding some insight, the truth of the matter is that Khor is just a familiar who wants a fun time, something he doesn't get with his studious little witch.

Khor isn't one to get into fights but he often gets on other's nerves easily when he wants to, his constant stream of jokes, jabs and unconventional insults often getting on even the most patient nerves. He does love interacting and so can be quite nice when need to be, although he's quick to gloat if you converse with him for too long. Yet, he is the perfect parallel for Larka for while she may have all the intelligence from her books, he has the unrefined knowledge of how the world truly works. He's keen on scams, often able to lie or snaggle his way out of anything with his creativity and silver tongue. A bit of a con artist himself, not that he minds. Not a charmer but a familiar who leaves an impression nonetheless, usually because something seems off. Khor isn't against exploiting weaknesses, having no time for honor. He's quick to fight dirty, being ruthless at the drop of a hat if it would suit him better than playing nice.

He's also quick to be side tracked, unfortunately, seemingly having the attention span of a five year old with ADHD at time although it goes nicely with his outgoing nature. Khor is also a quirky individual, a slight kleptomaniac and if he's out and about you can often see him touching something: he always has his paws on some sort of object whether it be a bug or even a rock. Many would think he lacked the innate alertness all familiars have but if anything, Khor is often pointing out things quickly, his intelligence leaning heavily towards a naturalist. Not even an ant could get past his gimlet gaze, and despite how he clashes with his 'boring, party pooper' witch, he is inherently loyal to her. After all, her naivety is harmful to him and he always needs to look out for number two: himself.
