Beck is a strange animal. Its form, while superficially resembling a tundra duck in shape, is next to impossible to comprehend. It's jet black feathers seem to absorb all light, and its eyes seem to glow a dim, dark red. Smaller than average, it tends to perch itself places and tends to stay quiet, preferring to communicate almost solely through telepathy with its master.[break][break]
His personality is even worse, for even though he is a duck superficially, the attitude he holds seems to be one of a much older, much more violent spirit. While not outright evil, and will not outright attack those it sees, it tends to act aloof and superior than other people, and even other familiars. It's voice, when spoken, is a deep, black, gravely tone that both terrifies and comforts at the same time.[break][break]
Regardless of these flaws however, Beck holds his duty to Cassius as his highest prerogative, and will obey any order given to him by his master immediately, even at the contradictions of his past actions. He holds nobility and honor above all else, and will flaunt his age whenever he can.
