Dai is a large white-tailed stag, with antlers splitting into three branches. When willed, or by surge of adrenaline, these antlers are able to burst into flames. He has reddish brown coat, the signature white under-tail and a proud stance worthy of a prince.[break][break]
Dai carries himself regally. He is as blunt as his witch, and just as headstrong. He is calm and collected in almost every situation. He is an expert surveyor as well, and knows when it is time to retreat. He likes to offer advice to Raven, at the same time recognizes that Raven is her own person. Dai only offers her the possible outcomes of each of her options, and leaves her to decide. Whatever path Raven chooses to follow, Dai will be there. [break][break]
Raven often berates the stag to put more of a show, more of a playful banter than anything else. She knows, like how he cannot move her, she cannot move him as well. And so the two sticks together with each other, polar opposites, yin and yang, the prince and the star.

Fire Techniques

CLOSE QUARTERS
Technique - Fire
This enables the witch to instantly create a ring of fire having a smallish radius with them at the center. They can use this to trap enemies or ward them away, but the size of the circle and the intensity and height of the flames depends on the skill of the witch.

FIRE WHIP
Technique - Fire
The user creates a whip of fire that can be wielded as a weapon and burns that which it touches. Fledgling witches will have to practice to solidify and manipulate the fire, whereas experienced witches can create and manipulate multiple fire whips that burn bright and intense.

FLAME BOMB
Technique - Fire
The user launches a set of small fireballs, which explode upon contact with their target. The amount of fireballs able to be created and the size of the explosions is dependent on the skill of the witch, meaning fledglings may only be able to create minor explosions, but experienced witches can create many fireballs with devastating effects. Masters of this technique would be able to control the direction and size of multiple fireballs simultaneously.

BURNING ECHO
Technique - Fire
The witch sends out two waves of flame with a few second delay between each wave. The flames usually take the shape of a ring and come out like a ring of smoke being blown out. The second flame is always weaker than the first, as it is done in quick succession with less time to charge the witch's mana into the attack.

A quick scroll that, provided the witch is able to think quickly and be very accurate in their spellcasting, will knock-back a living or non-living being. this scroll becomes more powerful with the witch.

Scroll - General
A very simple scroll that almost every witch possesses the knowledge of. It allows the witch and the familiar to switch places at any time or distance from each other. However, sudden switches can leave an inexperienced witch feeling dizzy or disoriented.

TELEKINESIS
Scroll - General
The witch can move around objects at their leisure- it’s not intended for offensive use as it’s difficult to make the objects go at high speeds. It’s also mentally exhausting for beginner witches as it requires quite a bit of focus to maintain. It’s generally used to lift objects off the ground or subtly in sleight of hand.

At night and when the skies are clear, starcallers with this ability are able to influence the cosmos themselves, brightening or dimming certain stars to create meaningful messages for all to see. Granted, not all understand the meaning behind stars and constellations, so this is usually used to communicate with other starcallers or some diviners. When many starcallers attempt to express the same message at the same time, they can turn normally dim stars into beacons or make entire constellations appear to vanish.

Anyone inscribed with this sign develops an altered interaction with gravity. The witch can inscribe one of two sides of the scale, either increasing the gravity on the object or person to slow them down, or decreasing the gravity of the person allowing for them to jump higher than normally possible.

ASTRAGIC GRIMORE: GEMINI THE TWINS

Creates stardust clones of the user. These dark, twinkling clones cannot use mana and appear obviously inhuman, but are able to touch and use physical attacks. The strength of the witch determines how many clones can be created at once, how strong they are, and how long they last -- at novice rank, 2 clones of average human strength for a handful of minutes is standard. After being moderately damaged, they disintigrate into stardust.

An exceptionally well illustrated grimoire written by the beloved witch Lunella Lacehart, this particular scroll talks about the creation of a starette. It allows the user to bind stardust together at a focal point to create a floating ball of light and heat. A skilled user can make dozens of starettes at once, but knowledge of the rest of Lunella’s scrolls is required to fully utilize starettes. The user must have access to the sky or stardust to create one. At novice rank, this scroll no longer occupies a scroll slot.

This scroll can only be used by witches that can maintain three or more than three starettes at once. The witch lines them vertically and, after a second’s delay, a hyper-condensed and extremely powerful blast of stardust is created. The further away the three are from each other, the stronger he blast and larger its range.

The starcaller can compress stardust into a bag to be released at a later time. Depending on the density, the stardust may float around and gently illuminate a room when released. Or, it might be packed in so tightly that it explodes like a flashbang.

An enchanting creature known to lure passing sailors to their death through bewitching songs, their fates sealed and often meeting a rather bitter end. The emphasis of the spell lies heavily within the voice and is rather similar to the Siren with its usage. The spell allows the witch to weave mana into their voice as when singing the song inscribed within the book. When sung successfully, individuals that fall victim to its charm will enter a small trance that leaves them dazed. However, there have been instances of strong minded individuals freeing themselves from its charm which could allow the spell to be rather tricky.

The spellsinger may sing along while an instrument is being played to cause the instrument to "remember" the song and essentially continue to play it on repeat... forever... these instruments don't tend to last very long due to frustrated neighbors breaking them out of spite.

A GENTLE WHISPER

The witch pours mana into their vocal chords in order to make a verbal suggestion towards another person or persons more convincing. The spell works best with simple commands such as "Sleep" or "Drop it". Sufficient willpower can easily overcome this ability as well as anything that blocks sounds. This spell also doesn't work well with long lasting effects or suggestions which are too complicated.

Coven Crest - Helios Knights Fledgeling - unused
A shining crest that bears the symbol of the Helios Knights. This object was given upon being accepted into the Helios Knights. Though it seems like a simple keepsake, this item will serve as your character’s lifeline in the face of imminent peril. When the bearer’s mana reaches critical levels, all items made similarly will begin to glow as a mass signal is sent to witches of your coven, allowing them to come to your aid should anything happen. May be used once to escape death.

At a glance, this golden metal armband appears to merely be fashionable accessory with a rose-shaped ornament. However, when the wearer is attacked, a vine-like cord will lash out at the attacker with a thorny retribution. Its reach is limited, and will only snap out at incoming threats which target the head and upper body (when worn on the arm) on the side of the wearer where the band resides. Some witches wear multiple of these bands across their arms and legs for increased range of protection and more painful retaliation from the metal thorns. Created by a novice-ranked enchanter.

This silver ring with a milky-blue centerpiece creates a magical barrier around its wearer when they are in physical danger. A spurned lover channeled their love into the thread used to create a final gift. After all, the object of their affection could never escape their loving grasp. The Strangle Scarf is used to demonstrate to weavers why they need to be careful in what they create, no matter how practiced they are. The idea is simple: take the idea of a clingy piece of fabric or a magically snug piece of clothing and remove all the safeguards on the item so that it continues to constrict. Depending on the durability of the scarf, the target could cut the scarf off with ease, or have to take more drastic measures.
