this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
The classroom is empty. She can hear the quiet tick tick tick of the old clock in the adjacent room, the ever-present background noise of chatter from the attending students, the soft rustles of wind against the window sill. Sunlight paints streaks of luminescent warmth on her skin, kissing the bridge of her nose and facing along the strands of her hair. Aisling shuts her eyes and takes quiet peace as she waits for her mission partner to arrive.
Footsteps. Pattering like summersoft rain, distinct in the clarity of her mind's eye; Aisling sits up straight and faces the door, Lyze perching on the back of a chair nearby and pinning unblinking eyes on the entrance. Still. Expectant. They know not of who is to arrive save for his name and his coven - unknowns make for a cautious witch and a wary familiar.
A soft displacement of air as the door opens; no creak. "Good morning. Dalton Quincey, I presume?" Aisling stands and greets the arriver with a gracious smile and a nod; she may not be able to see him, but she does not need sight to be polite, and she has long since accustomed herself to acting and functioning as the sighted do. Some may forget but she was sighted, once upon a time, too. "I am Aisling Fei. It is a pleasure to be working with you."

In all honesty Dalton was surprised that he had been chosen for a mission like this, he was still pretty new to the coven and probably wouldn't of had much to talk about. Though of course he had some experience from before joining the coven, mostly helping out with things in his families shop where they sold things they created with their alchemy; but hey experience was experience. mostly helping out with things in his families shop where they sold things they created with their alchemy; but hey experience was experience. If he could figure out any way to help these kids out with what he knew then it would all be good. [break][break]
A bit afraid that he had shown up late the boy opened up the door to the classroom he was supposed to meet his partner for the mission at. Going to say something for a moment before the girl in the room beat him too it. Although he didn't really notice anything about her yet, specifically he didn't realize that the girl was blind yet. Though he could see her eyes just fine he thought they were just unique looking. [break][break]
"O-oh, yep thats me! Good morning, I didn't expect you to be here already." He blurted out with a chuckle, a hand reaching up to scratch at the back of his head. Stepping into the actual room Dalton would shut the door behind him, setting his bag on a nearby desk as he started to dig around until he pulled out a notebook. "Its nice to be working with you too! So, do you have any ideas for what you wanna talk about?"

[attr="class","textbod"] 'Male, similar age, unfamiliar. Slightly nervous or uncertain. Black hair, blue eyes.' A standard list of observations from Lyze beginning as soon as her partner enters the room, tinged with the cautiousness of an ever-overprotective familiar; she processes the information even as she forms her own opinions with the ease of long practice. There is a dull thud of what is likely a bag being set down on a nearby table, the rustling of one rummaging through the contents, then something finally being withdrawn; a feathering touch soft against her mind as Lyze confirms what she hears.
Aisling seats herself gracefully once more, motioning towards where she knows there to be another chair. "I have a few ideas," she says with a small smile. ( 'Eye contact, up, slightly left,' Lyze whispers. ) "I have been a member of the Helios Knights for but a small amount of time, however the House of Fei has ever been involved in the politics and challenges facing the witches of Sundial." And she, as heiress, has a duty to stay informed. "And you?"
