A victim of ancestry, Yvella Strom was the perfect child gone wrong. She had been born to regain the lost glory of her house (which, regardless, was beyond repair) and she had seemed the perfect fit.
Until the gene of summoners and glory skipped her out entirely, and she wound up a runescriptor. Taught how to behave from a young age, Yvella's sudden shift from the spotlight to shadows cost her the mirth of her childhood- now she looks after her sister and serves her coven with utmost dispassion.[break][break]
But ancestral mistake and years' worth of conditioning cannot quite smother all that resides in a spirit. Lurking inside the self-crafted shell of a mature and clever-spoken-but-not-too-often soul is a dark, scheming mind that does not rest even in sleep. The kind of mind with ideas best left unsaid, thoughts and remarks best confined to the shadows from which they had been born. Inside lurks a terrible vengeance and the cunning to craft it of her own blood and misery. Yet all her machinations as of yet,
have no direction. They brew inside her, bubbles popping like pipe dreams once they leave the cauldron,
never growing to be more than what they are. Thoughts.[break][break]

It's difficult to say Yvella is your friend but she's definitely a very good friend. An experienced older sister, she has all the qualities of being the mother of the friend group, if only she was a little less quiet. Yvella seldom speaks unless spoken to, and tends to fade off in the middle of conversation. It's either that or she talks for hours on a useless tangent-- there really is nothing in between.[break][break]
She's someone that's slow to melt out of the typically-kind-and-quiet-stranger frost but eventually becomes more comfortable with serving you her own flavour of sarcasm as the friendship progresses. The problem with Yvella is that she hardly voices her disagreements with other people, and can harbour deep resentments even when seeming as though she has nothing more to add.[break][break]
Regardless, to her friends (and all if not most people), Yvella is reliable and clever. She can be creative and passionate if she really likes you, and if she loves you she turns into quite the sarcastic sadist. Odd, but it's somehow worked for her.

Yvella holds onto grudges like quidditch players clutch their brooms. She might say she forgives you. But she doesn't, really. And it's foolish to ever think she'll forget. You see, she won't just remember how you offended her. She'll remember your dialogue word for word and the colour of the shirt you were wearing, too.[break][break]
It's not too difficult to get her to dislike you. Just trash talk her affinity, do anything rude or seemingly selfish, act excessively boring, speak unintelligent gibberish or-- yeah. Yvella's very judgmental. She will always have at least an inch worth's reservation with just about anyone. Though just push these reservations and you'll be on the road to straight up detestment. With the only problem being that you'll never know.
[break][break]
Except from the occasional slip of a sarcastic comment, you will never be able to tell if Yvella hates you or is your best friend. And really, what does it matter? Thoughts are thoughts, right?

Yvella has a younger sister whose wanted ad can be found here. They have a relationship that is, at first glance, quite straightforward. But the further you look at the things the more the clear lines blur. Yvella's sister is probably the one that understands her frustrations the best.
[break][break]
Other than that, she might have the few odd cousins or so.

Yvella's major plotlines (subject to change at any time) can be found here.
