this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.

I DON'T KNOW WHY I DIDN'T COME
WHEN I SAW THE BREAK OF DAY, I WISHED THAT I COULD FLY AWAY

we all fall down
If the day kept going on the same as this morning, it would just be a waste of time. With no mission or work to attend to, at first this sounded like a great moment to sit back and relax. Do something fun. Create art. Learn how to magic better. Make any sort of progress towards one of her overall goals in life.
Holly didn’t feel like doing any of that. Not on purpose, for she clearly tried to be useful. She sat around outside with all the tools prepared and ready to go. All she lacked was the spark, the drive that brought motive and passion to inspire her. Without it, well, there was little reason to keep trying. There would only be more lines on a page, nothing worth showing to the public.
So she sat there and waited, not wanting to go home empty handed. At some point her squid friend showed up and reclaimed his spot atop her head. Noting the extra weight, she slumped forward until he fell into her hands. She wanted to look him in the eyes while she said this. “Dance with me, Sai.”
Not waiting for a response, Holly stood up and began to spin in a circle. As she moved further away from any fragile, easy to knock over things, she switched from holding the tiny squid’s body to two of his arms. Watching him swing around and around only made her want to rotate even faster. So she did.
As a pair they danced for an extra minute or two, before something started to happen. All the world became one giant blur. Her focus wavered, and it became hard to avoid bumping into stuff. To say she was now dizzy would be much too weak of a word to use. She almost needed something bigger to describe this feeling, but her word choice was always lacking.
Soon, she released the squid and sent him flying off in some unknown direction. Holly was too busy tripping over herself to notice as she hit the ground with a loud plud sound.
