this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
She had the photo of the missing child in her hand as she waited by the entrance of the park. It hadn’t been long, just under thirty minutes that the child had been reported missing. The parents had already tried their best to find her themselves, but they turned up empty handed. August had been in the area when she got the call and as someone close to the whole ordeal, she immediately volunteered. She also immediately volunteered because she also had been lost once as a child and the experience was rather horrible. The sooner they found the kid, the better.
Of course, as she was still knew to running missions and to Jester’s Den as a whole, the organization had assigned someone more familiar with the organization to tag alongside her. August was okay with this, ignoring the fact that she was going to be observed and reported back on, because it meant there would be another set of fresh eyes to look out for the kid. Besides, if someone else was around of importance and she managed to find the kid rather quickly, it would only make her look more component. Then, maybe they’d let her go on more exciting missions.
“Maybe she crawled into some small space the parents couldn’t reach,” Nicki Bunaj suggested. The hare was sitting on August’s shoulder and stretched his body upwards in order to get a better view above the crowds inside. His front paws were struggling to find solid footing on August’s slippery hair. “It’s possible!” August agreed, “you’re going to be better at checking those places than me.” The hare chuckled softly in agreement as he moved he adjusted his monocle.
Upon inspecting the crowd further, August spotted the distressed couple. She assumed it them at least, as the mother was crying and the father was talking both a security member and a park employee who was dressed up more proper than a ride operator. She gently pushed her way through the current milling crowd in order to make her way over to them. Introducing herself, August put on the most cheerful smile she could manage and verbally assured the couple she was going to do everything in her power to search for their missing daughter.
“Weren’t there supposed to be two of you?” the amusement park employee questioned. “Yes!” August replied enthusiastically, “however, I was in the area so I made it here first. She should be arriving momentarily.” Nicki Bunaj nodded quickly in agreement, as if his own opinion put more importance on his witch’s words.
