this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.

Aiden wandered home, weaving his way through familiar streets and shops as he made his way through the Hovel. Occasionally he’s stop, to say to someone he recognized. He would smile and approach and have a bit off small talk before being given greetings to take to his grandparents. It was less that they recognized the shock of bright red hair on his head, or the colors on his clothes, but more so they associated him so strongly with the Cunnighams, even if his name didn’t match anymore. That was alright though. He was happy to be associated with them and less so the Emersons. Sure, maybe some people around the Hovel had heard of his sudden new heritage coming out of the woodwork, but it felt like it was more in the upper echelons of polite society that this was even relevant.
At least, his other grandparents sure thought so. But who card what they thought anyway. He only really needed their money and that would be the end of that. They felt no love for him, and the feeling was mutual. Aiden had decided he needed a break from their stifling demeanor and equally suffocating household. Endless mazes of empty rooms and tasteless company. He couldn’t say or do anything without some sort of mistake being pointed out or sneered at. It was in his nature, they would snipe. Mistakes only serve to create more mistakes. Yeah? At least he wasn’t the biggest mistake the Emerson clan had ever had. That title lay squarely on his father’s shoulders.
Aiden snorted at the thought. He had probably never cared for his family’s title or prestige, something he had in common with his son. That’d be crazy right? The ginger stifled a yawn and adjusted his backpack full of clothes for the weekend. He veered off his path to step into a small shop. Dusk cast a sleepy light on the world, and Aiden was already starting to zone out. Maybe he’d take a nap when he got home. “I’ll grab some lemons…” he mumbled to himself before pausing and picking up a handful of cherries so he could convince Rosario to make him cherry pie. In a few minutes his arms where full of fruit. He began walking towards the cashier before stopping as a few lemons fell to the ground. He thought he was fairly certain he could grab it without much effort, a wrong move the wrong way sent the rest of his fruit tumbling to the ground, eliciting an exasperated sigh from the boy. “C’mon…it’s gonna bruise.” He hissed, visibly frustrated with himself.
