this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
for thinking i was different, what else do you want me to give? i know it's not a promise, you got what you wanted
Millard was jogging as a brisk pace, trailing just slightly behind the small 5 year old who's flip flops were loudly slapping against the pavement as she rushed forward. He smiled as he watched her curls bob and sway back and forth, her hands tangled in the hem of her little jumper.
He was lucky that his mother doted on her so much honestly, he'd be lost otherwise.
She turned while running, flashing him a bright gap toothed smile. His heart clenched in his chest, she'd lost one of her first teeth just yesterday afternoon and to think his little girl was growing up so fast made him a....little emotional.
But no, he had to concentrate.
He grinned back and sped up, quickly overtaking the young girl much to her annoyance, if the wild scream behind him was any indication. They sped down winding roads and alleyways, through crowds of people, and across busy streets (which he let her lead in that case.)
Their destination? The general shops.
"Okay okay! Lauv is overhead we should slow down-Fiona!"
Fiona came to a stop a few feet away, panting hard but smiling. Millard felt the shakiness in his limbs from an extended run but picked her up anyway, toting her down the street and tickling her as he walked. Fiona shrieked and he gazed up, watching the huge humpback whale float above the city between the buildings with a shocking amount of grace.
"Alright first shop, candy?"
"Yes!!!"
Millard laughed and walked into the candy shop, with Fiona on his shoulders. He ducked through the doorway carefully so she wouldn't bump her head, and scanned the shop slowly.

Technically, shes an adult. But only technically

Aeliana stood, browsing the ungodly amount of chocolate that adorned the room in the candy store. She had never seen so much in one place, and of such a staggering amount of variety. mouth watering, her eyes sparkled as they scanned across the different purities, each with their own concoction of ingredients and extras, all of various sizes and shapes. To her, this was a second heaven.
Nagini currently slithered alongside her, wrapped around her legs and waist, and resting her head on the girl’s shoulder, her faint ember glow pulsing hypnotically under her scales. With a slight sigh, the giant tiger snake shook her head at the girl. “You’re making this much harder than it needs to be. It doesn’t take 30 minutes just to pick a type of chocolate.”
Aeliana gave a sort of pouting glare to her familiar. “Well excuuusssee me princess for not knowing there would be this many options. If I could afford more than one or two, we would have been out ages ago! But there’s just sooo many choices!” Nagini let off another sigh, head drooping and shaking as she wondered how on earth this girl had managed to live this long.
“The only reason that we are even this low on your allowance is because you felt the need to go and spend it on ice cream while we were at the beach.”
“It was HOT Nagini! What was I supposed to do, die?”
If it was possible for snakes to roll their eyes, Nagini gave off the distinct impression of having done so, unsure of how her witch could be so simple sometimes. “Well, just hurry up and pick then, we have other things to do.” Aeliana pouted at this, steaming a bit at the impatience of her familiar at the delicate art of choosing the correct chocolate.
“Fine, I’ll get this one!” she said, reaching for one of the chocolate with caramel bars.

Millard set Fiona down on the ground, and the little girl went crazy. She ran around the store, grabbing things off shelves and running them back to her dad, who had a basket in his arms. It was rare that he let her do this so he allowed her to pick what she wanted, since they used a reward system at home. He looked around himself, picking out some honey candies and licorice for himself and tossing them in the basket, as well as skittles and a few pieces of chocolate here and there.
But Fiona?
Her eyes went wide when she saw the caramel chocolate bars.
She wormed her way in front of Aeliana, jumping up and down and grunting, but unable to reach them. She turned her pleading eyes to the woman, big and sad, and stuck out her bottom lip.
"Can you help me please?"
Millard blinked and looked on from a distance, slightly wary of the stranger but waiting to see what would happen.
