001. missions on starfall are usually member-created. they award up to 10 affinity points, gold, and 1 affinity scroll (if fully completed) for each participating character, and can contribute to the site plot.

002. missions may not be solo'd, and must have at least two participating characters. mods will not be moderating member created missions unless they are raids.

003. the limit is five missions per character at a time. your character can drop out of a mission to free up one of their mission slots by posting in the mission's prompt thread, but they will not be able to claim full rewards on that mission. Partial awards may be applicable depending on number of posts made.

004. first, create a thread titled MISSION: MISSION NAME in the mission board using the appropriate form. Post in the notification thread to let staff know. after that, a staff member will either approve of or deny your mission. then, create a thread for your mission wherever appropriate and then roleplay out the mission.

005. after completion, you post back in the original thread with a link to the completed mission thread. a mod will then approve and give you the rewards.

006. reminder! your inventory must be created and linked on your miniprofile to be eligible for rewards.[break][break]
007. fledglings and apprentices have a limit of 5 affinity scrolls/items per mission, novices and adepts have a limit of 6, and acolytes and masters have a limit of 7. scrolls and items must be listed in your posts as they are used. techniques (elemental magic) do not count towards the limit. if you need help, please shoot a message to the staff.

009. Characters may join missions after they've already begun. A character currently partaking in the mission just needs to post in their accepted mission prompt thread tagging the character who's joining. Note that joining a mission partway will result in your character only getting a fraction of the full rewards.

there is now have the option of making a mission timed! timed missions offer additional rewards when completed within the chosen deadline, however there will be deductions to mission rewards if they are completed outside the deadline. the rules for timed missions are as follows:[break][break]
001. a timed mission thread must have a minimum of 5 posts per person involved, and +1 post per character for every mission rank above fledgling. for example, a three-character novice mission must have a minimum of 21 posts.[break][break]
002. you have a choice between deadlines of 1, 2.5, or 4 days per post of the minimum requirement, to be decided at mission creation. for example, a two-character apprentice mission choosing the 2.5 day multiplier would have have a deadline of 30 days (2 x 6 x 2.5)[break][break]
003. bonuses for success or deductions for failure to rewards are as follows:
