this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.

YOU'VE WAITED IN VAIN BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING FOR YOU
There was some sense of charm that could be had with the outskirts of Sundial, unrestricted lush landscape that could stretch for miles and never quite bound to the same borders that the humble city maintained– the sight was liberating and to stand within its presence was relieving. Despite the harrowing creatures that lurked outside tall defensive walls, the thought never quite took away from the ethereal beauty the outskirts seemed to hold.
Aurélia would find herself wandering towards the outskirts from time to time, her purpose holding little intent other than the small desire to unwind from rooted stress built overtime though some portion of her believed that her visits alluded to the contrast the outskirts had compared her once well pampered childhood. She soon leans forwards, her breath curling in the chilled air as she breathes out a small sigh; her arms resting against the cold window sill of the lighthouse while her eyes peer through the rain covered glass.
Her attention never seemed to waver from the window, her attention focused on building storm that lies just outside the strong protective walls of the lighthouse while a small genuine smile settled onto her lips; body perking when she hears the faint rumble of thunder, “Do you enjoy storms?” She breaks the silence for just a moment, her heading turning from the window for just a moment to look at the large crocodile that rested a few inches from her.
His movements appeared to be slow, auburn gaze resting upon his witch when he was confronted with a question, “To an extent.” Agni formulates the words, his voice deep and gruff though calm yet the moment was short lived.
She reaches her hand down to brush her fingertips against the rough scales of her familiar, her intents clear as she gently forces away before her attention diverted to the room around her; eyes resting on the door for just a moment when she thought she heard someone lurking around.

blue moon
you saw me standing alone
the air is electric with the potential of lightning, clouds low and dark on the horizon that bespeak of a storm to come. crisp breeze, tangling its long fingers through his hair with a lover's ardent touch and pressing saltwater kisses onto his skin that leave licks of seaspray shimmering behind; grassland, hills rolling far into the horizon misted over with a quicksilver veil; a lighthouse, tall and sturdy, standing guard at the mouth where the heavens meet the land.
one step, two, three; a cadence beneath his feet drummed to the primal rhythm of the rain. his feet are silent on the stone stairs, winding up the lighthouse to a thunderous finish; he reaches the top to a clap of rumbling sky.
a flash of crimson like the dawn over a blood-soaked battlefield, red hair like a tattered banner of victory fluttering against the sky; bottleglass green eyes and a crocodile of fire and ash lying beside her; "aurélia," he greets, quiet and solemn as he slips into a seat beside her, only a hint of something resembling warmth in his eyes belying his feelings for the girl. "agni. it has been a while."
