Generally speaking, Leila wasn't one for liquor. She didn't dislike its taste and could very much appreciate the industry for afar, with every beverage that came from or with it. Though, she still didn't partake in it usually, for several reasons; the most prominent of which would have to be, how expensive it was. Most people wouldn't bother considering much funds when they went drinking all-out, and much unfortunately, the white-haired herself was one of those who disregarded finances in that case. Alcohol in general, while produced in so many different forms and variations, didn't come cheap, and the damage to one's funds could easily be seen after a wild night. As one to try saving up as much as she could, she naturally strayed away from such.
But if everything was paid for? Now that's another story. How does that saying go? 'Free food tastes better'? --Probably not. But that was valid enough in this case.
She wasn't overly familiar with the woman, but Leila wasn't going to turn down the offer either. That is to say, she didn't have to be, to be fond of her. It was important to maintain good relationships with the regular customers too, after all. And besides that, Loraina did prove to be rather pleasant to pass time with. She had the impression they were on the same level on many things in life, and that was more than enough of an opportunity to make a nice acquaintance, if not friend. She had only spoke with her on occasion when the woman came to her small store, but that sufficed. Enough to be invited on a wine-tasting event, anyway.
Yes, wine-tasting. While reluctant at first (somewhat), the moment the word 'free' came up, Leila was bought. Ironically. She couldn't care less why she, of all people, was invited. It was a once-in-a-while event that she had no reason to deny. Free wine? That about covers every problem!
Soon enough, she'd arrived at the meeting spot. Not much of a detailed location, but the generic stop by a certain shop she was not overly familiar with. Fortunately managing to navigate her way through the semi-familiar street, Leila glanced here and there in search for her companion -- as well as any gawkers, stares in general. She did go out of her way to dress up nicely and apply a rarely used perfume on herself, just for the appeal. Granted, they were going somewhere that required a nice show, if the stereotypes were correct. On this afternoon, a shorter attire was due. Leather sandals, multiple straps engulfing her feet, only a short distance away from her calves. A short, white dress held with a thick, tightened brown belt covered her body, though exposed much of her back and allowed a generous piece of cleavage on front. Two, matching sleeves were worn as an addition, covering her arms if only just for fashion; she even went as far as to braid her hair. And as usual, Hau was present over her left wrist, like a bracelet.
Soon enough through her short stroll, Loraina's figure came into view. She'd recognize that hairstyle anywhere. Well now. "Huh. I figured I'd be earlier to arrive." Leila noted, stopping finally once close enough to the other. "How long have you been waiting?" She inquired, offering a welcome smile; same as always.
