this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
May your feet serve you well And the rest be sent to hell Where they always have belonged

"...and furthermore Lex, you should really stop that." The cougar spoke out loud as he walked beside the tall man. Pollock had been at it again, lecturing the stubborn old man. He can't help but feel annoyed to constantly keep on reminding such a grown man to watch his own actions.
The gardens of helios, such peaceful place. Lex simply found the whole entirety of his coven's halls to be fitting of men with sophistication such as him. Such grand architecture to marvel at, not to mention the statues which lined across the gardens for the public's viewing. He didn't quite understand why a marvelous place such as helios' gardens would be open to the public, he didn't quite enjoy the thought of it being a public park, truly not a fitting image for a sophisticated coven's gardens. Not that he can do anything about it anyway.
He walked along the grassy patch with a fat stick of cigar clamped between his teeth and a bottle of expensive liquor on his left hand. Pollock trailed along, lecturing the old man once more as they shuffled along the grass. "You keep acting like a spoiled teenage boy" The cougar growled.
"Tsk... will you please..." Lex blew out a puff of smoke and took a sip from his bottle. He kept his best to avoid any eye contact with his familiar, he only kept grunting and hissing for the past few minutes as he try his best to ignore the talking beast. "...shut it."
"Would you rather have me talk telepathically"
Lex stomped his foot, ruining a small patch of the poor grass. "Tsk! Fo' fucks sake! Get out of my head will ya." He trashed his hands to his side and gave off a sigh as a puff of smoke escaped his mouth. Lex finally chose to look at Pollock, his trusty familiar, and sat on the foot of one of the statues.
"Why must you keep on boasting, you're starting fights with other helios knights' witches, you work with them, you imbecile."
"Hell if I care, ain't even my fault they accept plebs here."
The cougar circled around and stood in front of where Lex sat. "You work with them, hell, you don't even know the man's name. I keep reminding you, you're not always the important one."
Lex grunted as he took another sip from his bottle of liquor.
Rufus told him to turn around and come back later instead of continuing his trek into the Helios Gardens. She told him that it wouldn't be a good idea to interrupt a man when he is a little upset and talking to his familiar. However, Flynn never had a habit of listening to what Rufus said. Or at least not listening until it was too late. He walked through the sifting grass and listened to the sound of a man speaking harshly to a woman-like voice. He could only assume that they were close and Rufus told him that another familiar was present.
That was interesting.
Not everyone kept their familiar out like he did with Rufus. But it was more of a mutual agreement sort of deal instead of a 'you must stay with me all the time'. Rufus tugged on his jacket and he waited patiently until the sound of arguing died down. However, his mind was working like a machine and he was trying to piece together the bits and pieces that he'd heard.
Starting fights.
Getting angry.
Center of attention.
Wasn't quite sure what this guy was like but he sounded like a character. And Flynn loved games so characters were right up his alley. So against Rufus' wishes, he called out to the man in question.
"Hey!"
Rufus sighed.
"Are you feeling alright, sir?"
He wasn't sure if he was a high ranking officer or a pleb but it was good to treat your elders with respect.
