this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
It could have been like any other day, a walk through the area. A stop between shops. A pack of money being placed on a couple of things that didn't really have any use. Adalwin was having a day, like any other day. His boots slapping against the ground as if the man had a lot on his mind or the fact he was planning something. And he was, the blond hair man stopped his tracks and began staring at a house down the block.
The house itself didn't look very special. It had a white picked fence across the doorway, a small garden in the front with a tiny garden chair that offered a seating for someone. But for a man he didn't really care what the house looked like, what caught his eye was the fact that there was a tiny small black kitten laying in the sun in the middle of the sidewalk. It's eyes closed and a soft rumble of purrs.
He had been going through this area for weeks wondering what to do. It was the small black kitten that he wanted and it probably belonged to someone. The cat didn't seem to think about the danger it was in. The cat wasn't in danger, mind anyone, Adalwin just saw that the cat seemed like it would be in better care if he had taken care of the cat.
The man stepped over to the sidewalk to walk closer to the house and knelled down before reaching out his hand calling for the cat. The cat didn't move from it's spot, twitching its ear to the side as if it listened to Adalwin, but didn't care. "Come here kitty." The cat lifted its head opening its blue eyes and staring at him for a moment before flopping its head back down and completely ignoring him.
He didn't want to take the cat, but as any cat thief, he had a problem. Not necessary a cat thief, but more he just had a problem. He wanted to take care of cats because that is what he did in his spare time and it was better than thinking about his own problems or feelings to deal with. He was a man, he didn't want to feel anything other than the blissfulness of petting cats.
And that is what he did, reaching for the top of the cat's head. As he made contact with the cat, it lifted its head back up and began purring against his hand. A new friend. A new beginning.
That wasn't the only thing Adalwin would meet today though, a new friend? Maybe this one didn't have four feet and meowed.
notes: @nana very bad first post, but have your thread! also when you are too busy/lazy making any posting template. Like this blockquote template. =u= simple just the way I like it.
A bit of shopping was in order. It wasn't her usually monthly splurge of course, but she did need food. Food wasn't something she could just hoard for a month at a time. Although, if she could, she would be taking the opportunity to and just sit at home cuddling with Cadbeary, reading a good book (Read: Erotica). That wasn't possible though, so now she was out and about, shopping for groceries.
Her loyal companion and resident grocery holder, Cadbeary, was trailing behind her with a couple of bags on his paws. Of course, Nana did help out and carried three in her own arms, but she's not that strong. With heels clicking on the sidewalk and her beary loyal friend by her side, Nana began to make her way back towards the residential area where her apartment was located.
The crowd began to thin out the more into the area she got, and soon enough only people she recognized as neighbors were around. Blue eyes trailed around the sidewalk before her. It was natural for her to walk around these parts, so she really didn't need to look. A choice glance sent upwards did bring a bit of a surprise for her though. Further down the sidewalk, where she expected a familiar black cat to be laying, she found a man- and the cat of course.
Kitten aside, the man was unfamiliar. She hadn't seen him around at all, but you meet new people every day, right? Speed kept consistent, Nana moved forward. Nothing about this man seemed off. He was simply petting a cat. Nana does that all the time, especially with this one. Her routine would not falter, so she slowed as she neared the two and crouched down next to the male. "He's cute isn't he?" A hand went out to pet the small creature while her bags rested on the floor. "He's always sitting out here. I suppose he likes the sunshine on his back."
