this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
Out of all the situations that Valencia thought she'd find herself in while a member of the Helios Knights, this was the most profoundly infuriating. She'd read over the details again and again to make sure that she understood them in their entirety. However it may have been her women's intuition or the fact that she was simply irritated by the stupidity of it all, but defending a cheater seemed uncouth. He was a human like any other but he'd broken a woman's heart and as the saying goes, hell hath no fury greater than a woman scorned.
If it was up to her then she'd just leave it be and let whatever fate befell him take its course. But she was a knight and protecting the peace and the citizens of Sundial was her duty. Begrudgingly, she'd taken the mission and set out for it once afternoon came. Her footsteps leading her to the Hovel where she found a man peeping around his shoulder and shuddering ever so often.
His hair was slicked back and tied into a pony-tail, eyes beady and unfocused as he seemed scared out of his wits. He was pale-skinned and rat-faced, his clothing being of high caliber but she wouldn't be surprised if they weren't truly his as well. She settled one hand on her hip and made her way over to him.
"Mister Folks?" she said.
And he nearly jumped out of his skin. Looking to her with a hand on his chest and eyes widened, soon he let out a sigh and shook his head.
"Yes, that is me." He said with newfound composure. "And whom do I have the pleasure of speaking to?"
Valencia felt as though her skin would crawl as he held out his hand for hers. She reached out and gave his hand a firm shake, stopping any attempt at him for him to try and kiss her own.
"Valencia Godfrey."
She pulled away her hand quickly as if touched by poison and settled it on her hip.
"My partner should be here shortly, let's wait for a moment."
With that, she turned away from him and busied herself with looking at the bustling streets of the Hovel. She could hear him mumbling about women with cold hearts but chose to ignore it.
