this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
These were the moments that made Rufus swear that her witch would never make it to see old age. She was woken by the sound of rustling pages and hushed murmuring along with a little cursing, which she didn't approve of at all. And out of nowhere she was swept into the cool night air in the pocket of an excitable young man who wanted to confirm an urban legend.
Flynn spent a good amount of time reading fairy tales and others books that he should've grown out of a long time ago. However, he kept his whimsy and it was one of the things that distracted him from other thoughts. But Rufus would've preferred that they weren't walking around Downtown Sundial at night with the few stragglers that were rather tired and seemed to be falling over themselves. The chill from another gust of wind caused her to shake but Flynn seemed unfazed.
If anything, he was adamant to continue pressing on.
"What are we looking for anyway," she sighed.
And he scrunched up his nose, scratching his head and gave a little hum. A few seconds passed and she prayed to whatever gods were listening that he wasn't aimlessly dragging her around the city. Then all at once, it seemed to come back.
"There's a legend about a wailing ghost in downtown Sundial, I wanted to see if it was real."
Alarm sparked through Rufus like wildfire and she gave Flynn's ear a sharp tug to which he grumbled.
"Why would you go hunting after a ghost in the dead of night?!"
