This was, weird. "Just as I said!!"
This has never happened before. Lightly in thought, the blond frowned. Trying to make sense of this situation. "...Don't you have an alternative way to do it, Mick?" She asked, slightly tilting her head to the side. Though she didn't expect much of an answer, it was worth the question regardless. And she was met with exactly what she had anticipated. "There is no alternative! I just can't go back, for some reason!" Truly peculiar.
It was a normal morning, for the most part. Nothing out of the ordinary happened; though Juliet did manage to see a couple yell at each rather passionately in the street. She had only gone out for few groceries that were conveniently left off from last night, and went on her routine as usual. Calling Mick forth for some company, as she normally did. However, the one change from every other day would be how the magical creature protested about being, mysteriously unable to return to his realm.
Juliet blinked twice, moving her eyes away from her familiar. "--Julie!" Was this normal? She's never heard of something like this before. Is it possible for familiar magic to malfunction somehow? Did all witches go through something like this at some point? She had decided that with the lack of information in the books she did read so far, deciding on an answer would be a little too hasty. It's best to investigate. "--Hey. Julie!!" But, the odds of getting a solid answer from her colleagues at the coven were rather slim, she'd assumed. Either through getting dismissive replies, or lack of knowledge; depending on the person in question's rank. Still, that was the only place she could think of to go to in a situation like this.
"Julie!!" --Snapped out of her thoughts, the young woman's eyes widened widely, realizing her cheeks were being cupped by her familiar's small paws. "You're thinking too hard about this! Don't worry. It's probably nothing bad! ...Maybe." Mick claimed, releasing his owner's face and sitting straight to face her. Though, he knew this was unnatural, and he knew that Juliet had the same feeling. Whatever reason it was that he couldn't return to his own realm, it would surely serve to tire the girl out eventually. But concerning that, he had a plan. A flawed one, but for the moment it was the most he could do for her. "You can think about it after we're through. Right now, I'll find a way around this! But the longer I'm here, the more of your magic it'll deplete. So you stay home and rest! You'll eventually feel me gone, and then we can research this! Alright??"
Though, he left her no time to answer. "--Ah, Mick!! Wait!!" To anyone who may have heard Julie's voice through the open window through which the red panda had hastened to run through, that would likely be the most of her voice they have heard.
...
"(This is weird.)" Once making sure his owner went with the idea (through watching from a higher spot and refusing to back down), Mick had went on a hidden stroll in town. Right now, the armored familiar was more akin to a regular animal of his kind; just slightly bigger. With every consideration taken into account, most of which concerned not putting too much of a burden on his master, he'd decided to avoid using magic as much as possible. Any excessive and unnecessary use will only make her exhausted quicker, with every second he remains out. Stationing himself on top of a certain high house, Mick's tail swished left and right as his eyes squinted down onto the streets. "(But it makes an odd sense.)" He'd seen several familiars like himself out and about.
The masses would assume that such would be in light of their master's decisions, but with his condition like this, it was very likely that they too, failed to return and were masking it. Like himself. "(Well, first place would have to be...) The council." He'd boldly decided, advancing through the roofs; hopefully unseen by anyone (that wasn't like him). A thought crossed his mind, causing him to click his teeth in irritation. Would they really be ones to listen to a familiar, let alone one of a mere fledgling? And what if they didn't know what the problem was?
"--We'll just have to worry about that when it comes!!"
