ABOUT
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Oh boy, Percy and Vera will talk each other's ears off. I'm not sure if as friends or foes, or as anything more than acquaintances really. I guess that would depend on how they meet, but I can see a funny dynamic going on with these two. [break][break]
They're both used to being the talkative side of the conversation, so when they meet they could either finally relax, knowing they're not going to have to pull all the weight on the conversation, or just have an unexpected battle of— I'm reluctant to say wits because Vera really isn't very witty. She just talks nonstop. [break][break]
Another fun thing I've noticed is they have really different goals. Percy wants to grow strong and rank up, be powerful and well-known, be what his parents never got to be. [break][break]
Vera's dreams are also big, and also stem from family achievements, but hers isn't at all dependent on her rank inside the Helios Knights. In fact, she's pretty laid-back when it comes to missions and the like, which would perhaps be a mystery to Percy. She cares more about her discoveries through alchemical research and experimentation, though she does want to help out the population as a Knight as well. She just doesn't think she needs to reach master rank to achieve this. [break][break]
I'd honestly love to have them discuss their differing ways of approaching their goals. In any way. It just sounds like a great moment to explore their motivations in-thread. What do you think?

!
Vera Lindt . This will be great! When done right they could even become close friends. Percy likes to befriend everyone else, yes, even Helios Knights. I agree it would be a relief for both of them, finally a seemingly effortless chat and friendship and fun. Seeing that Vera is a Helios Knight and Percy a Leviathan, maybe Vera could you know, look out for Percy, warning him not to get to venture into adventures that could be harmful for him. Though when time comes, their friendship to each other may be jeopardized with their coven's interest in the way. Maybe we could plot that out lol but first things first! We have to get them to meet![break][break]
I think it'd be great if we could carry out your plot. It'd be delving deep into their character and developing out little things that could add more meaning to our characters. I mean, all my ideas about Percy are all motherhood statements. It'd be good to flesh it out. How would you like an accidental meeting? I could make the thread if you want c: There isn't really a concrete plot here, but we could wing it out for sure. c:
To be fair, Vera doesn't know much about Leviathan's activities. If he ever as much as mentions it, though, I'm sure it could easily turn into a 'motherly' Vera worrying over Percy and pretty much sticking to him 24/7 so she can make sure he's ok. Except it'd be so bad. Vera can't mom for her life. Her advice would be the worst. Percy, please run away. [break][break]
If you could start a thread for them, that'd be great. An accidental meeting is totally fine, I'm up for anything. [break][break]
I really like your ideas, by the way! They sound like they're going to be so fun. [break][break]
honestly, luke probably spends a good amount of time avoiding percival when he can help it, bc percy's not only a kid, but also unceasingly talkative. so in other words, luke definitely thinks percival annoying when he can't stop running his mouth. and perhaps even a little endearing? with time, anyway. a long, long time.
on the other hand, the guy also baffles luke like none other, bc ??? why does he have to use so many words to say something that could be so much simpler? what is this tiny, noisy creature... for that alone, luke might strike up a conversation or take percival out or smth and just spend his time asking hesitant questions and staring as percy blabbers on?? luke's never would've thought he'd run into this kind of person in leviathan of all places, so he'd definitely want to figure the brunet out.
missions don't sound so bad either, so feel free to hmu for those whenever! also feel free to add/subtract from this reply, and lemme know what you think!
rhea would love percy. she'd think he was a riot. can you imagine her slapping his back and laughing at his jokes. she'd teach him all the dark dark things of leviathan, and would genuinely care for him i think. that is, if he's open to having a slightly mean but really 'i'm here for you any time, any day' kind of mentor.
she'd be so shocked to find his kind in leviathan, but she'd be happy never the less and

@luke . Someone to bother! Percy would be up for that! Luke is older, and even though they are of the same rank (as of now), I imagine Percy would treat him as an figure to look up to. They both can be asking questions to each other, Luke quiet and attentive while Percy noisy and inquisitive. I can see that Luke has a kind of shady past, and even though Percy would in no way judge, he would most likely ask a lot of questions. That is, if he could make Luke speak out. [break][break]
Also!!! Familiars! They both have an avian-water (I don't know the right term for this, sorry) familiar, so it would be fun to point it out! Percy likes to brag about Seraph, his familiar. Seraph is a beautiful mute swan blah blah. I wonder how would Luke react to that? c:[break][break]
We definitely should have them meet each other! Is a mission good-to-go? For Luke, I'm guessing it would go like, 'why this kid, of all people...!' while Percy would not mind it at all! Thanks for plotting with Percy, he'll appreciate the interaction o7[break][break]
rhea gale . Yep, no problem with that! Imagine all the things they could talk about. They could talk on and on and on and would not run out of topics! (Only problem would be me because Percy's personality is the opposite of mine lols but anyway). Hm, I imagine Rhea would be the first of the coven Percy would like to be close with, because as you said, their personality matches! She's also older, so another figure to look up into. [break][break]
I'd like them to meet, please, if that's ok? Mission or social is fine. I can set up the thread if you want c: Thanks for plotting with Percy!
AWESOME yes! i'd love thread them and just about anything. a social thread is good for me. you can start if that's okay. rhea likes sto stay around the docks or downtown and sometimes ventures into the hovel. tag me anywhere, though uwu
Their personalities are similar enough that I think they'd get along really well. Ling doesn't mind chatter at all - she prefers having silence filled with talk. I'm thinking these two could meet if Ling gets into a bit of trouble where her guild can't help her and Percy just so happens to be passing and bails her out (which could be a mission), or something along those lines?
If you're up for it, I was thinking maybe Ling could develop a small crush on Percy that could turn into a short term relationship, add awkwardness to their dynamic, or just fade away with time.

hello
!
líng lù-xī . Ohohohoho. I like this idea. For the first meeting, maybe it is a two-person mission, but both witches are informed that they'll be going alone, perhaps to speed up the accomplishment of the request. That way they won't know who is their partner. Then as they go about their own ways it just so happens that Percy sees Ling having some sort of trouble, helps her, and be like "ohhhh you're the other one! you know what, it'll be much safer and easier if we just go together" and bam![break][break]
Awwww. Most likely Percy would like to be friends still with Ling, if we reach the end of this plot. He's going to be indifferent about her feelings and will treat her like a friend, before and after the relationship. I think it's very easy for Percy to just agree to the relationship, thinking, "eh, it's ok, what could happen?" and enjoys the relationship at earnest but at the same time lacks commitment to Ling bc maybe my boi is more focused into ranking up than anything else... and he can't keep himself from talking to different people... This is sad, but yeah...[break][break]
I'd like to go with this, please. First things first! Mission! I can make the mission if you want c: Any addition/modification to this? c:
Two person mission sounds good ouo. I don't really have any idea for a mission, so feel free to make any sort of mission you can think of <3
She could develop a crush on him in this mission thread or a later thread, but yeah, I'm totally up for Percy being just sort of "eh" and Ling wrapped up in the complicated feelings of a first relationship. I think she'd eventually figure out that his heart isn't really into it, and she'd probably be hurt at first (maybe she could confront him about it?) but a little time and distance and she'd be able to see the situation more objectively. Deep down, she would have known that the relationship wouldn't have lasted long anyway. And finally, their relationship can shift back to easy friendship again, maybe with a friendly challenge between the two with ranking up/advancing?
But yes, mission first XD

líng lù-xī . Sounding good, sounding good. Yas. It may be best to do it like a real story outline orz. The love not meant to be: Ling and Percival's story. <333 [break][break]
A rough outline would be... first, mission thread meeting and Ling developing a crush. Second is actual confession I think? And Percy agreeing, bc it has been too long since he's had any romance. And Ling is nice. He actually believes his feelings would develop in due time, but alas, it does not. Third is conflict, and Ling realizing that maybe Percy is really not her special someone. Percy being apologetic... Fourth is the finale, the two splitting ways. I really like the idea of the friendly competition. It could be their final vows before parting. Kind of like, 'when we see each other again, we should be novices.'[break][break]
Ehhh anyway, I don't really know how would these play out. But best things happen accidentally, right? Let's just wing it out <33 I'll start the first thread, and will tag you. Thanks for plotting with Percy!
