this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.

He could feel something deep in his bones. It felt like something weighing him down and this deep pool of sludge was just inching higher and higher. He could feel himself sinking into the darkness. He saw flashes of red and darkness... the sound of ripping and cracking bones. Another nightmare.
It was late in the day... barely anyone was at the beach. Everyone had pretty much packed up and gone home. This wasn't really a touristy part of the coast anyway what with all the rocks and occasional monsters wandering around. He just couldn't get back to sleep.
The young man just stood there staring at this bag; sitting in the sand with an oversized sweater and some sweatpants like he had just rolled out of bed. Honestly he might have done just that. It was hard to get any sleep in so he got it while he could.
Inside his bag were his trusty cards. He always consulted the cards on days like this but they never gave any straight answers. Was it because he was just so knew to this or maybe he just would never be as good as she was. She was the best after all.
He sighed as his eyes wandered down to the waves. The sun was setting and the scene was right out of a romance novel. What a pity. When all else failed magic could hold the answer. He could feel his mana pour into his eyes as he started to activate one of his divination magics. Concentration was key... especially when he was this new at it. The world seemed to fade to black for a moment as a bright white line appeared before him. It flashed in and out of view for a couple of seconds before it vanished.
It seemed to be going down the beach. It didn't feel bad or malicious so maybe it was an okay path... or at least not a dangerous one. It was still hard to tell. Well he had nothing to lose. He dusted himself off as he rose from his perched position in the sand. He began to walk where the path had lead him down the beach. Where would this path lead?
