this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.

[attr="class","hazeltextstarfall"]Whenever he tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, Hazel would find himself here - in the pleasant embrace of the gentle wind and the soothing river-song. There was just something about the tenderness of Mother Nature that relaxed his stiff muscles and brought a light smile to his face. Was it nature's inherent perfection, or was it simply because of how different it was to the city? Something in the air just made his heart, his body, sing with joy. [break][break]
He leaned back into the caress of the delicate grass, eyes flickering across the sky, chasing clouds high above. It was peaceful here, utterly quiet save for the soft whoosh of the wind as it rustled the foliage all around, completely busy yet still all at once: nature was a confounding mixture of opposites that managed to stay in perfect harmony with each other. It was harmonic in its chaos, chaotic in its harmony, and for all that it was, it was perfect, beautiful. It was nothing he could ever hope to achieve in life. [break][break]
A sigh found its way past his lips, and the young man closed his eyes and focused on the world around him - the salty sea breeze in its freshness and coldness, the tickling of the grass against his skin, the faraway calls of birds and other wildlife. If he could, he'd stay there forever, turn into one of the many feral beasts of the land and run wild with them for as long as he could...but what more was that than a dream? He had duties to attend to, a myriad of things he still needed to do; his personal freedom came after all that, as much as he wanted it now. And so, as always, he'd return to the confines of the city, ever aching to return to the untamed lands yet again.
