He’s there early. He always is when it comes to helping organize events. He’d practically jumped at the chance of such an easy event. He was still getting used to more of the responsibility that came with his rank. At least, it seemed so to him. He was good at accomplishing the work that was offered to him, even if that work wasn’t quite as flashy or difficult as some of the other jobs offered to people of his rank. For a while he’d thought that perhaps jobs were in low demand. But another part of him wondered if perhaps the call to arms on some of those missions were screening him out. He wouldn’t deny he was a little softer than most snakes roaming around though. Complaining about it wouldn’t change a thing anyway so it didn’t bother him as much as he thought it would. He was making good pace; the best thing would be to stick to it. He’s survived this long anyway. [break][break]
Today would be no different. He had a couple of managerial duties, but he was by no means in charge. Just efficient. The witch had no problem taking a task list and focusing on it, zipping from area to area, happily helping set up different sections to partition food into and helping restick signs on tables and signposts. Then there’s a tap on his shoulder as he’s directed to go welcome and give a tiny orientation to those just arriving. He’d already watched the event director do it a couple of times, and the instructions were fairly simple. Corvus gave a nod before running over to welcome the group of people just arriving and waiting to help out. It wasn’t that large of a group which made the next part even better. “Hello! Thank you for coming. Before you get started, you need to go to Ms. Harriet’s info desk to grab a name tag and get assigned a station. Well, assigned if kind of formal though since unless you’re part of the pantry’s organization you’re basically runners wherever the man power is needed today.” He said cracking a smile with ease. “That’s easy enough. If there’s no questions, go ahead.” He said allowing a few witches past him as he waited for stragglers just to make sure someone was here to catch the last of them.
