The Sun Cafe's short of workers on Sunday mornings, so Matteo's snagged the spot - he knows the manager doesn't mind, and that Matteo's always eager and ready for work. He won't be favored in terms of wages, but he'll at least have an extra bit of coin in addition to his mechanic workshop's meager income. [break][break]
"One hot chocolate for the young sir," he says with a smile, handing the young boy seated at the table a large mug. The drink is warm, and covered with whip cream and a sprinkle of, well, sprinkles. The boy squeals with glee and Matteo walks away, satisfied. [break][break]
He glances around the shop, looking for other spots that need service - the quicker all jobs are done, the quicker he can fiddle with that wind-up toy he's been making for the past day. He wipes off a small sprinkle of crumbs from an empty table with a cloth, sets the chairs in order, and keeps a tentative eye on the register. He's got close to zero ways of helping around the place with magic, unless it gets to cold - which it almost never is. [break][break]
