this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
Somehow, this cat was perched upon an 8 story tall building, and Cass just stood there dumbfounded, still trying to assure the girl he had a plan, while he tried to think up a plan. “shhh, shhh. It’ll be OK sweetie. We’ll get your cat down.”
“Bu-ut *sniff* Mr. Spring-Kles is. Stuck. And. I. Don’t. Know. How. To. Get. Him. Dooowwwnnnn!”
Cass just sort of rubbed the back of his head, still waiting for his partner they said was on their way to arrive. He had hoped personally two heads would be better than one at this situation.
You could always just turn into a bird and fly up, Suggested Beck, extremely matter of factly. Or, you know, make a shadow claw and climb up.
It was true, both were valid opinions. But he didn’t want to admit that to Beck, and, regardless, it would be hard to corner the Cat with just his own pair of hands, or, in his case, hand. He would prefer to wait until whatever help they decided to send him showed up.
“It’ll be all right, don’t worry. Once my partner gets here, we will have your cat down faster than you can bat your eye.” He gave the little girl a smile before once again eyeing the crowd to see any incoming mage who had also decided to help capture the cat.
[attr="class","nabody"]As always, she boldly wore her coven's crest in a necklace, fully intending to show where she came from and what her business was. Unlike many, as she came to learn. The chiming sound of metal lightly knocking against itself could be heard faintly in the crowding, as the blond took her final steps forward, past the gathering and towards a certain man and a little girl.
Only to have to crane her neck, way up, just to see where the cat was stuck. "--Ah." No wonder they needed help with that.
She couldn't discern who assigned the mission, but for the most part, the lack of any other (crying) little girls in the area save for a few in the crowd behind, more or less told enough. "Is that your cat up there?" Juliet bent down, resting her hands on her knees as she lowered herself to match the little girl in eye level; though her expression remained unchanged as ever, she slightly tilted her head to the side. Perhaps, trying to appear more friendly. She really wasn't sure how to deal with this. But if she could assure one thing, it was-- "We will get your cat down. Don't worry."
As she straightened herself, the air around her right shoulder distorted. As Julie eyed the other man present-- noticing the duck and the lack of an arm, a creature appeared into the space around her; a red panda, swiftly materializing into the realm and clinging onto his master's shoulder. Her familiar. Almost heeding no notice to the animal's appearance, she blinked twice. "My name is Juliet Tepache." The blond introduced; "This is my familiar, Mick. Let's work together."
But how in the world did the cat even get that high in the first place...?
[attr="class","natag"]292 ● Cassius Constantine ● notes: I'm so sorry this took like forever
Cassius turned to see the blonde approaching. She seemed to be his backup or, at least, she held herself like she was. She sauntered up, and the first thing his eyes went to was the prominent placement of the Helios Knights necklace. It put him off a little bit, but he wasn’t going to let it show. He just had some bad experiences with the Knights in the past, and didn’t care too much for the majority of how they tended to hold themselves like they were above everyone else. But, help was help, and this little girl’s cat was the priority at the moment.
Cassius stood up, introducing himself back to his new, albeit temporary, partner. “I’m Cassius Constantine, this is Beck.” The duck gives a small bow to the other pair as Cassius cranes his head up to observe where the cat is, shielding his eyes with his hand. “So any ideas on how to get it down? So far the best plan I could come up with was we scale the building and try and catch it between us, corner it as such. Doesn’t really seem to be any way for the cat to get down, and I doubt it’ll jump. I figure, get up, corner it, grab it, get back down. Should be a piece of cake for two people.” He turned his head back down to look at Juliet. “Or do you have any suggestions yourself?”
