this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
Dr Puddy was more than ready to begin this fight. She was all swaddled up in her little bread load pose ready to watch/partially take a nap while Billy did battle. All she had to do really was remain materialized and that was it. She didn't really feel the need or care for this competition... especially as it was only the first round. She'd stay out of the fight as long as she wasn't attacked herself.
"Let's just have fun... okay?" Billy said excitedly, looking up at the young man who would soon battle him. He was about his age from the looks of it and was someone he didn't recognize. This wasn't surprising as he didn't know that many people outside of the few people who did missions with and the higher ups everyone knew in both covens. Billy drew his wand as the duel was about to begin, that dopey smile on his face as he waited for the signal to begin.
Just a moment later it was time. The young man pointed his wand towards his opponent and a beam of light flew from the tip as TECHNIQUE: SINGLE SHOT was channeled through his wand. On the plus side using the wand added a little more power as the light was usually more concentrated thanks to it. On the negative side he had a hard time using it for cutting things and it usually was more of the boom boom variety when it hit whatever it was going to hit.
His body readied in stance to move left or right. He honestly didn't know that much about duels. He just knew he had to try not to get hit. He was flexible and acrobatic so hopefully this would work in his favor. The biggest issue was... he hand no idea what kind of magic this young man could use. Something very area of effect could be dangerous. His familiar looked pretty though... some kind of deer creature but more majestic. He'd like to give her a carrot or something later. Or was it a him? Questions to ask later.
