this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.

Percy remembers the good old days of his childhood. He remembers when he discovered a solitary shed a few meters from their house, nestled deep in their backyard, which he is certain has never been there before. He blinks, and it's gone. He frowns, turns around, and when he turns back, it's there again. What is that?!
That's when Percy discovers illusion. His parents had been hiding the shed with a blanket of false reality, and renews the illusion every once in a while. They were aided with a trinket of sorts, Percy's not so sure, so they wouldn't have to exhaust their mana. Percy got in the house and got into some trouble.
Although he is reprimanded severely for writing on scrolls, Percy is thankful for that day. "They are not the type to do that," Percy says. "But, I bet they would appreciate if I go home. Maybe I would, during the Saturnalia Festival."
Percy scratches his head, a bead of sweat forming on his forehead. She's right, he is indeed acting apologetic right now. "I just don't want to force anything that you might not like. Back then I didn't ask whether you want to be submerged deep in the lake with only a bubble for safety." He would never do that again--well, rather, he would first ask her permission, her likes. Jelly above everything.
Yeah, even his food and drinks are finished. They'd been here for quite a while and it's gotten dark outside. Oh. "Nope," the boy says. "But uh, it's a lovely night. Care for a walk?"

Percy's parents are not the type to run to him and congratulate him for all the accomplishments he has done. That is similar to the case of her parents, but hearing his wishes to visit them during the Saturnalia Festival, she figures they are quite close. Hers, though... they are a different case. They would never run to her and acknowledge what she has done. Of course, that's not to say she would let them come to her again. She'd turn them away.
...But she does not say anything to him about this. "That's a great idea," she tells him instead, smiling as she taps the empty plate in front of her with a fork. "I'll bet they would be happy to see you, especially during the festival."
They switch topics, Percy talking about her experiences in the lake and how he does not want to force her into anything she doesn't like. Well... it's partially true; being submerged into the water without warning made her uncomfortable, but it was a new experience for her and it's something she can appreciate. "It's fine, Percy." A reassuring smile graces her features as she remembers their talk and the fishes under the lake. "For a few moments it did make me uncomfortable, but I was able adjust. But it's nice to know that you're concerned."
It gets darker outside and other customers are leaving for the night, with the shopkeeper exiting the counter to switch the sign by the door. "Well, we can't stay here even if we want to, anyway, the cafe is closing." She says in response to Percy. "I'd very much like a walk, thank you." She stands up from the chair and reaches a hand for Percy to take.

He vaguely remembers how his parents celebrates Saturnalia. They didn't always participate everyday every year. However, he could distinctly recall how they completed a year as a family. Well, almost. On the evening on the ninth day they went home. Percy had asked countless times if they would come back for the last day. Supposedly, the last day is supposed to be the grandest of them all!
But they never did. Percy hadn't known why, after all these years.
At this point of time Jelly has reassured Percy more than enough times that it's digging into his stubborn brain--it's fine. Everything's fine. He should look forward--they still has a walk downtown together before--supposedly--they are to part ways for the evening.
When Jelly stands and reaches a hand out to him, he smiles widely. Well well well, he is really liking these developments. He reaches for her waiting hand, stands up, and automatically switches to a more comfortable position. You already know, the 'holding hands' thing.
Soon they are out of the cafe and under the dark night and twinkling lights. They are in quite a high place, and Percy could see the downtown area from here. "Oh yeah, my apartment is right there." He points at a vague part of the downtown area. "How about yours? Do you live near this place too?"
