For a long time, that thought had clung to her and haunted her actions. They had been the actions of a worried vagabond, a traveler with no desire to rest or relax. But now, with strangers turning to friendly faces, and the landscape changing from foreign to familiar, she finally felt at home. [break][break]
The pay for the helios knights, even as a fledgling, was completely generous and in no time she had been able to save up to live in a rented place of sorts in the residential area. Her landlady was a lovely old woman who she often shared her morning meals with, but she still had to fix up the flat and make it feel more like home. A new home. A new identity.[break][break]
She sighed wistfully at the thought, walking inside the abandoned ruin calmly as though she owned it. Her skirt fluttered in the early evening wind and she slipped inside the small ruins of what once was a huge watch tower. The expansion of Sundial's border had left it further inwards than the rest, and thus useless to the knights that patrolled the border.[break][break]
She turned left, clearly familiar with the layout of the place, and pushed away an old barrel to retrieve the goods she'd stashed here when she had first arrived at Sundial.[break][break]
